Brass has been on our list for quite awhile and we finally made our way in for the first time. I love the building and overall vibe inside, the staff is friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We had the chilaquiles, the chicken plate and a side of Yucca fries. The fries were a bit doughy inside, but the rest of the food was delicious. Mix that in with a nice tap list along with Alma Provisions and this will be an easy repeat visit!

Good food in a fun location! Right of the Bryant bike trail, so a great place to bike to for a quick dinner. The vegan sandwich was delicious if you are a guac fan.

I’ve been eating at Brasa for 4 years now- and I order the SAME THING every time. Because it’s that good!

I order the chilaquiles with red sauce and it is fantastic (the green sauce is good too, but I like the spice of the red). Their portions definitely used to be way bigger a few years ago, but it’s still good. I just generally need more food than this one plate now which is a bummer, but I still order the chilaquiles because it really is that good.

My wife gets the chickpea curry and adds chicken to it, she loves that too.

They do have an app for rewards, but no matter what location or who’s working, none of the staff seem to know how to use it or add points to it, so it’s kind of redundant to try to use it whenever I spend $40-$50 and can’t get points for it on their own app. That’s a bummer.

We love their food though, so we will keep coming back. I wish someone would train their staff on how to load points onto their app though- it works for ordering via the app, but I dine in.

Typed ‘soul food’ into maps @ 730pm on a Sunday and drove over, hoping for the best.

A quick skim of the menu offered rotisserie chicken, collar’ greens and candied yams.

I asked for a sample of the greens to see if they was hittin’ or not. The gentleman at the counter obliged me, and they was on point.

Ordered the plate with chicken, greens, red beans and yellow rice, candied yams.

They served me a tasty spin on Soul Food’ with it’s African, Caribbean and South American roots.

Thanks Brassa for the yummy food, exceptional service and late hours on Sunday.

We had the huevos rancheros bowl and the arroz con pollo bowl and a piece of cornbread. These items were both well-seasoned, and filling. I want to try the catfish bowl next time.

The service-included pricing is very refreshing. The atmosphere was worthy of a date night. The sidewalk seating is a nice asset as well.

My first time here, I ordered the rotisserie chicken with a side of candied yams, and a side of mac n cheese. The chicken was overcooked, dry, the Mac and cheese was a bit runny. My friend enjoyed his meal he had the smothered chicken, still was a good experience. I will go again, sometimes restaurants have an off night. I heard good things about this place, so I will not let one dry chicken breast stopfron becoming a ling time customer.

We enjoyed the food and beer. Chicken was cooked perfectly and out sides were very flavorful. I bit on the pricey side for the portions but worth the experience

They had amazing food here. I had the Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich and it was great. Loved the bacon and the chicken salad. The atmosphere of the place was great as well. The place is also extremely convenient to get to by bike it is right along the Bryant Avenue Bike path and the 46th street bike lanes and is also pretty to get to by transit as it is just a 3 minute walk from both the Route 4 bus and the Route 46 bus

Roasted pork bowl with yellow rice, over-easy egg, spicy creamed spinach, crispy onions and red sauce was a favorite. The green sauce is so good too and I was grateful they gave me a side of it. Our server (I believe named Seven) was fantastic. Great, casual place to eat or grab to go.
