Best Indian restaurant I have been to in the NYC area. We had fish in banana leaf, onion curry, sambar, avial, and parotta bread. The amount of flavor in every bite was incredible. Everyone was so kind explaining the kerala style dishes. Will definitely come back soon to try more dishes!

This was my first time trying this restaurant, and it was kind of a letdown given all the great reviews.
I ordered delivery via Uber Eats and got palak paneer, dal makhani, naan, and samosas (received 4 pieces). Both entrees came with a side of rice.
The palak paneer was good overall, though I wish it had been a bit spicier—it could’ve used more of a kick. The dal makhani was disappointing. It lacked depth of flavor and had a coarse, almost undercooked texture. I expected something creamy and smooth, but the lentils were gritty, which really took away from the dish.
The naan was soft and fresh—no complaints there. The samosas were a good portion, but they tasted greasy and arrived without any chutney?! That was quite disappointing. I’ve never had samosas without some kind of chutney on the side.
I’d probably try somewhere else next time.

If you want to eat Kerala style food, this is the place to be. This restaurant used to be known as Santoor before but now it is known as Kutanadan. We had the privilege of eating imported Karimeen and aoli. We also ordered prawn roast, fish biryani, Matta rice, Kerala parota, onion kulcha and more curry. The food was decent, service excellent and price not bad. If you feel nostalgic about Kerala food, this is the place to come.

Ordered catering from kuttanadan and had the best experience. The way they treated us from the beginning was fantastic. This is a continuous trend with them. The food was warm, delicious and no one complained about it. The food is exactly what you expect good indian food to be and more. Thank you for keeping up with the expectation.

The seafood dishes especially stand out, they’re aromatic, flavorful, and cooked just right. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the food quality is consistently excellent. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the overall dining experience even better.

Went there for their buffet today and I regret that choice. Everything in the buffet was cold and enjoyable. The apps were cold and hard and seemed like leftovers from days before. Butter chicken and naan were also cold, ended up leaving my plate basically full because I lost my appetite after the first few bites. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone.

We went for buffet today at around 12:45pm. Buffet starts at 12 noon. Food was cold. Couldn’t figure out the tastes. We mentioned to 2 waiters and they blamed the weather. But issue was not addressed.we hardly ate. Will not go back. Not worth $25 each person bill was $100 plus . Really disappointed.
