Loved the atmosphere of this place. It’s a great spot on the water to stop in for a cocktail and food. The bartender was awesome and if this place was close to where I live, I’d be there all the time. They close a little early, but honestly that’s not unique to them: Astoria pretty much rolls up the sidewalks at 9:00PM.

I sometimes come here for a shrimp cocktail and hot cocoa. It’s a great view of the Columbia River and the Astoria working waterfront with ships, sailboats, pilot boats, and fishing boats adding to the scene. Sea lion sightings are common. The Inferno stays open a bit later than some other restaurants in Astoria.

Ordered steamer clams. Was excited to try a new “favor” of pesto. That’s a no go. The clams were loaded with sand and even found a little crab in one. They did take the “meal” off the bill, so yeah, for that.

This is hands down one of the best places to vibe in Astoria! Most especially at sunset. The food was absolutely amazing highly recommend the halibut steak! The tri tip sandwich was delicious but the steak was a bit over cooked for my taste. The cocktails though? To die for! I recommend the cherry blossom kamikaze… amazing! The atmosphere was perfect and the staff was on point, friendly ans prompt! Will definitely be back over and over!
