We had our wedding Anniversary dinner here during our trip to Astoria and got lucky to get the seats with the river view. For food, we ordered spicy shrimp tacos, the salmon, clam chowder and shrimp cocktail. The chowder was delicious and so were the tacos. The tacos in specific were juicy and had a lot of flavor. On the other hand though, the salmon disappointed us. It was too salty to our liking and the flavor profile was just non existent. They also made an error and billed for one of the items as non happy hour, even though we did order that during happy hour.
Nonetheless, it was a decent dining experience with a great view and it did not put a hole in my wallet. I would recommend this place

Stopped by Inferno Lounge in Astoria for the first time and had a great meal. I tried clam chowder for the first time and it was delicious. The pulled pork tacos were my favorite part. The pineapple and beer marinade worked so well with the pork.
Jane also made a great old fashioned. Spot on.
I will be back next time I am in Astoria.

Nice spot right on the river with great views. Drinks were great, service was good, food was good, pretty standard bar menu with a few twists. Decent prices. Oregon Lotto slots in the back. Great cozy place to grab lunch or a few cocktails on a rainy afternoon. Outside seating in the summer. It’s right on the river walk, easy to find.

Stopped in for lunch on our way through town. We split the “exploding wiener” and added banana peppers with a side of pasta salad. It was excellent- probably a little small to split but so good. Their sandwiches were large so probably would’ve been a more filling meal to split. Loved the atmosphere, saw a sea lion right out our window, and we enjoyed the river views. If we end up in Astoria again we would definitely make a stop here.

We decided to celebrate Thanksgiving this year at the Inferno Lounge. It was the only local place that didn’t require a reservation, so we decided to throw caution to the wind and see if we could get a table. We got there early and a line was already forming to get it. We were able to snag a table with a fantastic view. Most of the tables have great views of the Columbia River. Besides their Thanksgiving special, they were also offering regular menu items. Since it was Thanksgiving we all ordered that special. What a delicious plate, too! Moist and flavorful turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, perfectly cooked asparagus, small portion of cranberry sauce, gravy and a soft, squishy dinner roll. Great portion, too. The only thing missing were sweet potatoes. Excellent meal, great, friendly service and a table with a view! And no clean up for me! How cool is that?! Thank you, Inferno Lounge, for a delicious, and relaxing Thanksgiving.
P.S. I was so excited about my food, I forgot to take a photo before digging in! The plate truly was full before I dug in! They also served us some delicious Wassail! So tasty!

Chill vibe, great beverages (husband really liked the pear infused vodka), and the food was on point! Grilled cheese with tomato soup was crazy good, as was German sausage with the cheese blend & onions. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town!

One of my favorite places to frequent as a local. Beautiful river view. Large, varied menu. Good happy hour 4-6 pm, 7 days a week. The best chicken broccoli teriyaki bowl and spicy bloody Mary (only $20)! They use their home infused charred oak and black pepper vodka, with their homemade bloody Mary base, that’s a meal in and of itself!

This place is incredible! We visited on a Monday, early afternoon, during the off season. There was 1 other table being served. We ate grilled cheese sandwiches, soup and beverages. The table overlooked the water. The service was prompt. The food and drinks were excellent. This place was casual but would handle a special occasion well. It was perfect!

Inferno Lounge in Astoria is such a fun spot to hang out. Their nachos are insane – huge portions loaded with toppings, very easy to share late night. The staff is super friendly and lovely to chat with, which makes the vibe even better. It’s usually pretty quiet, so it’s perfect for just relaxing with friends. They also had some awesome Valentine’s drink specials that were really tasty. If you’re looking for a laid-back place with great food, good drinks, and the nicest people, definitely check it out!
