Small hole in the wall Indonesian restaurant and bar. Delicious food, good service. We got the meal for two which comes with fruit/ vegetable salad, noodle soup (we had it with beef), appetizer plate (egg rolls, small skewered chicken strips, fritters with dipping sauces) and 3 different meats with broccoli and rice for the entree. The meal is served family style, everything is fresh and you can choose from no spice or how spicy you would like it. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Let me start by saying this is one of the most unusual dining experiences I’ve ever had. Read into that what you will but here’s what happened: the mango papaya salad arrived as a lot of shredded cabbage, a bit of carrot, some light green shreds (the papaya?), a touch of mint, a couple cherry tomatoes, and a thin dressing on the side – no mango that I could detect. Upon pouring the dressing over the salad it had almost no flavor – it reminded me of a coleslaw mix without dressing. The noodles we ordered as our main course had a similar lack of flavor. There were shrimp, noodles, big shreds of iceberg lettuce, and again a very thin dressing to pour over that added little flavor. The server (and owner?) were both very pleasant but it took an inordinately long time for us to get our main course (I think there was one other table in the restaurant at that point and I didn’t see anyone coming in for carry out, either). The drink menu has a good selection and some nice quality options. The atmosphere looked a bit rundown and hodgepodge, but they had made some efforts to add some beauty and visual interest. A unique experience but it is unlikely I will return.

Absolutely Love her food!!! And her Rendang is some of the best. Have been here several times, and have honestly never gotten a dish I didn’t like. The flavors are very well developed, and you can tell how much effort was put into each dish. Owner/chef could not be more welcoming. During our dinner she came out to check on us, and then brought us a special drink she had been simmering for 3 to 4 hours. Told us it was something that her mother made for her as a child, and she wanted to share it with us. It was amazing, and unlike anything else I’d ever drank. It had Ginger and citrus and some spices, hard to even describe, but amazing! It is the picture of the cup that I posted.

Food was really good. We ordered sate daging ( beef date) , Indonesian beef soup, Java chicken , Indonesian fried rice, spring rolls. Everything are delicious. Will definitely come in again for my beef rendang and fried Java chicken ! I’m orginally from Malaysia and able to taste food somewhat like malay food in Malaysia makes me happy ! I heard the chef , Melik’s husband, Nik told me that his wife cook everything from scratch. So, sometimes the wait time can be longer. Hey! To eat good food, it’s worth a wait !! Anyway, overall, my daughter loves the sate and beef soup while I’m enjoying their curry beef and java chicken .

First the food here is great by all means. Its fresh and has lots of natural flavors. The staff is friendly and the service is quite well. My problem with this place is that it seems like maybe the owner/manager? seems more interested in drinking than working. Also the average wait time for the food is like an hour and a half. So if you do plan on going here plan on staying for at least 2hrs and have a drink or five.

Great restaurant with great food. The chef, Melik, is awesome at what she does. If you’re looking for authentic Indonesian food, or just something exotic & different than the everyday norm, check out INDO.

This place gets better and better every time I visit. I’m so happy that they have a vegan menu and a vegan night! That’s hard to come by living in this area. I love that their sauces are made from scratch. Atmosphere is relaxing, portions are worth it, and the staff is always helpful and friendly.
