Chef Tony is amazing. The finest Indian cuisine in the area, I lie to you not. Everything was amazing. He was very accommodating to a sever food allergy of my aunt and modified some of the recipes but nothing lacked in taste. We had a variety of things. Avocado Mango Chaat, Open Face Samosas, paneer cheese stuffed naan, Machi Malabari -the fish of the week was red snapper with basmati rice, Lamb Vindaloo, with basmati rice, and the deserts were Jamun Mantra and cardamom crème brûlée. The indigma & white lichee martinis were quite tasty as was the the You can literally taste the passion in Chef Tony’s cooking!! We will definitely be returning

I have eaten at Indigma for a number of years in its original location, but tonight I visited its new location. Not as fancy as the original location in a stately townhouse on Charles Street, the new restaurant occupies the ground floor of an apartment house on Maryland Avenue. The owner has fashioned a more casual and relaxed atmosphere and the food is as good as ever. There is one problem, however, which requires an immediate fix. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:45, a good 15 minutes before our reservation. We were not served until after 7. A restaurant has to be pretty special to make one wait for an hour and a half to be served. I like the food and I like the owner, but more help in the kitchen is an absolute necessity if the restaurant wants to stay in business. We got apologies from every member of the staff including the owner/chef. They offered us a complimentary dessert. We were so tired we had to decline. A successful business is almost always a team effort. Perhaps a change in the lineup may help. Great food. But today, poor service. I wish them well. They are good people, but….

We decided to try this place out and it was wonderful. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. There were gluten free options and you could ask for a specific spice level. The food was really good. The creme brulee was out of this world, truly fantastic.

What a find! Every single thing out in front of us was absolutely delicious. From the ginger mango chutney to the cauliflower dumplings, I can not recommend this restaurant enough.

This was an amazing experience! I wish everyone could experience Chef Tony’s cooking- cannot say enough about how good each dish was. Clarence, our server, was extremely attentive and never missed a beat. We will definitely be back and bring friends! This one is a keeper!

Chef Tony never disappoints. HIs food is the best Indian food I’ve ever had. If there is something that you want that is not on the menu, he will make it for you. He will also adjust the spice level to exactly match your taste. He also takes the time to personally greet his guests and can enthrall you with the history of Indian cooking and his life on several continents. But his food is what truly delights. This is a place to travel miles and miles for and a place to go out of your way for. This is food to die for. This is a restaurant that I always want to return to, over and over again.

Me and my boyfriend came on a pretty slow night, it made for a very cozy and private experience with great service. The ambience is great and I can feel how the energy might be on a busy night. The food was very solid, and we eat at lots of different Indian restaurants when we get the chance. The drinks were tasty but not strong. The only downside is that there was a strange buzzing noise nearly as loud as the music, which my boyfriend kept noticing. Once that is fixed this place will be top notch! We loved it overall
