Ordered from India House on Uber Eats and honestly wish I could block this restaurant from ever appearing again.
The garlic naan was completely burned, not just overcooked. The lamb dish was totally tasteless, no seasoning and no flavor at all. The lentil soup (dal) tasted like water with some powder mixed in — absolutely bland and empty.
For $45 plus a $5 tip, this food was extremely disappointing and nowhere near worth the price.
Highly do not recommend. This was my first and last order. Never again.

i had such a filling, delicious here. i’ve been eyeing this spot since we moved to pdx. they offer an affordable lunch option that i’m excited to try in the future.
we ordered their thali, both lamb & seafood. for $20 we got two starters, five entrees, and a dessert option. if you’re looking for a filling, affordable meal, this is it! everything was delicious, the chickpeas were my favorite.
inside the place is gorgeous. soft music, attentive service, & quick turnaround after ordering. we will be back!

Kumar absolutely killed it! Currently typing with a belly full of delicious and yummy food. Cost effective, beautifully located, SCRUMPTIOUS, and did I mention delicious? This place got everything you need. And if you don’t need Indian food, ya don’t need oxygen neither. 10/10.

The service was outstanding, very welcoming, and accommodating to my friend and I. Wait time was minimal. If I could recommend one item, it would be the lunch special that included two curries, rice, samosa, rice pudding, and naan. For a drink, the mango lassi was creamy with free refills! Great prices and amazing quality. 10/10 would come again next time I find myself in Portland!

I haven’t had good Indian food since moving to Portland and this blew me away! Really loved the papadum with sauces, and the Alu Matar and Vegetable Jalfrazie were both awesome. They made sure to make the roti without butter when asked so the meal was vegan for us. We will be back!

The owner was very nice and very helpful with my lactose intolerance. Guided me through the menu so I could order things without dairy and made sure the chefs didn’t use butter for my food. I truly appreciated it. The food was really good.
