We were shopping and stopped for lunch. It was a Tuesday, when the high wind warning was in effect. We were seated fairly fast. Drinks and bread & oil came fast. After we figured out what we wanted, it only took 14 minutes for the food to appear. I had pizza and salad on the lunch special. My wife had chicken sandwich and salad. Both were good. I recommend this location. The best service I’ve had in a while.

We stopped for lunch while shopping. We had the Wild Mushroom pizza & Caesar salad and the Sedona Tortilla soup (a bowl) & Thai salad. The pizza and soup were excellent! Both salads were good but the Caesar salad needed more dressing (and I like a minimally dressed salad); the bowl was not big enough to toss the small amount of dressing supplied.
Service was excellent.

This location at Stanford shopping center has indoor and outdoor seating. The food and service was pretty good. We got the
lunch duos, one was pizza and classic Caesar salad with grilled chicken. The second was spaghetti and Sedona tortilla soup.

It’s an American style pizza & pasta place. Pizza and pasta tasted okay. I love how they tried new recipes. I love the crust. I don’t think Zucchini pasta was my favorite though. I came here twice already and will come back when I happen to shop in Stanford Mall and want to have pizza again.

I recently dined at this CPK location and I must say it was a unique experience. This location was surprisingly small compared to others I’ve visited, which created a cozy atmosphere. However, the lack of waitstaff was noticeable, and it took a while to get their attention when we needed something.

On the bright side, there was no wait for walk-ins, and the food was excellent. The menu had a fantastic variety of pizzas, and the flavors were on point. Despite the service hiccups, I’d rate them 4 stars for the delicious food and welcoming ambiance. I hope they can work on improving their service for an even better dining experience!

Lots of outdoor seating and indoor seating. Staff were chill. Lots of parking in front of the building and pretty easy to get to from the road. The pizza was pretty good. We ordered a medium but it came out very small. You should probably avoid ordering a small because it’s very small. For the size I don’t think the pizza was worth $24 even though we had a lot of toppings. Nevertheless you should try this location especially if you’ve never tried California Pizza Kitchen. It was worth trying and we were glad we went.

Staff and customer services was good but the food taste was 1 out of 10.
I won’t recommend flat bread at all. The chicken on the flat bread tasted so bad, like spoiled one.
The shrimp fettuccine was completely out of flavor, pretty much like hospital foods.

I was skeptical as my friend said let’s try CPK, but you have to give restaurants a second chance. FAIL! I ordered the California club sandwich described with avocado and bacon plus turkey or chicken.

1. My side salad came with dressing and I ordered without
2. My sandwich came with the tiniest piece of bacon ever and hardly any avocado. I politely said to my server that this isn’t OK.
3. They made a new one for me, but with mayo. I ordered with no mayo, and a little more toppings. (Yay?)

To add some icing to the cake, our server stood by his counter taking our order, did not approach the table. When we did get our food, he never came to ask if we were pleased. He didn’t pass by to fill up our water glasses. And when he looked at my sandwich when I complained, it was as if nothing was wrong. I believe from the first second we were a burden for him.

CPK – great location at Stanford but this was truly awful and I’m so sad for this as I had great memories from Hawaii at CPK.

Yes, it is a CPK. But really, at least this location in Stanford Shopping Center deserves more. CPK has always done a great job balancing a craft pizza eatery grade food with casual yet fresh dining ambiance, all wrapped up with reasonable pricing.

CPK at Stanford really hits it above the bar from that regard. The food is standardized so can’t be above the rest by far but again, would attest that the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. The kitchen is “open” in this location and you can really see the chefs putting in tons of effort. What’s puts this branch ahead is the atmosphere clearly. Tons of Californian sunlight with plenty of patio seats. And in a crisp sunny day with a cool breeze, it inches near perfection. And all of this, with CPK pricing, which in Palo Alto standards is very accessible.

Out of the many eateries in Stanford Shopping Center, CPK and Pacific Catch truly deliver value. Yes, there’ll be a long line precisely because of this reason. But it truly is an oasis for both the hungry family with parents that need a cold brew.

Ah one last thing. Make sure to order the Butter Cake for dessert. Just do it. And you’ll thank me later.

Love this place. It’s gotten a lot better and different CPKs have different quality. This one is better than the one in Pleasanton. My daughter and I always share a Caesar salad and then each have our own chicken tequila fettuccine (which is great at this CPK but not so great at the other one). We also get a mocktail or fruit iced tea. Service is fast. Place is clean. Parking is crazy so be warned.

Good lunch specials – we got the one with spaghetti, black bean salad and a lentil soup. All came with unlimited bread with olive oil. Portion sizes were very filling. Tasted nice. Good service.
