India Clay Oven Fine Indian Cuisine was a short walk from the hotel I was staying at, and I’m so glad I visited the restaurant. It was really low-key when I visited, with a chill, divine vibe that made the experience even better. The food was good and I especially loved the ambience — the artwork and décor had a beautiful focus on love that made the space feel warm and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby. Really worth 4.5 stars.

I love this restaurant and really appreciate their lunch buffet, offering a variety of vegan and meat entrees to choose from. The food is ALWAYS amazing and I’m so glad the Bismarck location is still here so I can get my biryani fix, now that the Minot location has closed!

All the buffet curries.were delicious, loved the chicken curry the most. The mint sauce with the tamarind used together was a burst of flavor. The food is not hot spicy and is tolerated if you worry about that. LOVED the mango custard and fresh fruit for dessert.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. What’s not to love?!
We went at dinner time on a Friday, it was busy but we didn’t have to wait for a table. We ordered lots of food with many options and enjoyed them all. I didn’t come to Bismarck expecting great Indian food, and what a wonderful surprise!
I would recommend just trying whatever, chances are, it’s going to be great, and served up hot and fresh.

My career keeps me traveling all over the country living a nomadic lifestyle. Everywhere I go I try to find Indian cuisine which is one of my favorite dishes to eat. This place is hands down one of the best Indian places I have been to. Everything is hot and fresh and flavorful. I was very surprised that of all places, Bismarck would have a hidden gem like this. Best Indian food I’ve had in a long time! Had the lamb korma and vegetable samosa along with a mango lassi. Everything was fresh and beautiful! Flavors were on point! All of the staff were phenomenal! We even got a free rice pudding! Great place and I highly recommend.

We went for the all you could eat lunch buffet. All of the options were tasty and able to be eaten (flavorful, not spicy). The lunch buffet selections were many Indian classics with the blue drink and a tea offered free (the mango lassi was extra but very good). The atmosphere was great and my only minor gripe was that I felt like the staff looked at our table a lot. I’m chalking this up as we were playing cards to let our food settle (20-30 min) and they were attentive to take our dirty dishes. I would say every dish was of a good quality and I tried everything on the cooked side of their buffet .

I always eat here when visiting Bismarck and absolutely love it. Honestly, it’s the best Indian food I’ve ever had, I always tell people this is where they need to go if they ever find themselves in Bismarck.
They just added lollipop chicken to their menu, and it was sooo good, definitely recommend. My husband had the “spiced” old fashioned and loved it.
The service is always great and we love the atmosphere.

Some of the best Indian food I’ve had in some time. The Special Masala was very good. The layers of flavors and spices were exactly what makes good Indian food so hard to beat.
Lamb was my server and he was very nice and personable.
