the restaurant was completely changed. the food is far worse quality, and the service is far worse also. there used to be a massive menu, but the entire business was taken over by UNL. none of the food is made to order, it all sits there at the counter. i would not recommend after the change.

Any review older than this one is not applicable any longer. The place has changed entirely and is no longer operated by the same people. The new “menu” is about 10 items long, the food is not prepared well nor is it tasty. The service staff wear a hobbled-together collection of different restaurant name tags.
All in all, better to let this go rather than try to hold on to something that has passed

My most favorite lunch place in Lincoln, NE! I miss this taste in TX!
The elderly lady and the cook (in this picture) remembered me after a couple of times and made veg fried rice exactly the way I like. I don’t even have to order, if they see me in line, they know what I want, and how I want. He always used to wash the wok and laddle everytime before making veg fried rice. He also used to pack more for me lol

The food looks nothing like the picture they have put up on their website. Tastes abysmal… I could not eat it by itself. So, I finished it with some roasted brussels sprouts to overpower their extremely sweet, greasy sauce. I don’t see myself going back there.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. Guys just once try this dish and you will get addicted to them! Mongolian triple (chicken, beef, shrimp) half rice half chowmein. Ask them to make it spicy and then you add some sweet red sauce which says Cleara on it.

Saw a few comments saying this place has the worst food and that the food is not that great compared to other Chinese restaurants?? As a Chinese, I just can’t stand that! If you’re talking about the so-called “Chinese food” you know and you usually eat, perhaps this place is not that good, but seriously, have you ever eaten Chinese food? I mean AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD, definitely NOT Orange Chicken, Sesame Chicken, General Tso’s, Mongolian Beef, Teriyaki Chicken, etc.? It’s absolutely NOT what you see on the menu at Pxxxx Exx. I just want to say this is DEFINITELY ONE OF THE BEST PLACES IN TOWN THAT SERVE CHINESE FOOD, AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD, i.e. what Chinese are really eating in China and what restaurants are really serving in China. When we first saw this place we thought it just somewhere only serving the so-called “Chinese food” (American Chinese food) such as orange chicken, sesame chicken, etc. (They do serve those though). But when we were about to go we saw a menu in Chinese pasted at the counter. I saw “Braised Pig’s Feet”. We knew we had been wrong. We knew this was where we were looking for to have lunch. We had Shiitake Mushroom and Chicken Stew, with rice. It tasted good. We noticed a lot of Chinese students waiting in line.We decided to try every item on the menu in Chinese! One suggestion: Order items on the menu in Chinese pasted at the counter. They’re much more delicious than orange chicken and sesame chicken lol

Phone number listed is not accurate. Guy answers phone and tells me I have to go there and order. I didn’t want to go there and then wait, I wanted to order ahead so it was ready when I got there. Not very “express” as the name says. Then get there and lady is confused about order. Can barely speak English and was confused about what I wanted. Barely got the order in.. and then of course it came out wrong. Wouldn’t reccomend this place.
