Tasty Greek seasoned wings… fried just right and the feta dipping really went great with the lemon and crunch.

First off, I’m a huge fan of Immigrant Food (I usually go to the Planet Word location). This is a small food stall in Union Market offering a few different menu options such as sandwiches and bowls.

I’ve been a few times to this location and the staff are always friendly. The food is pretty decent but honestly I think there are better options in Union Market for the money. To date, I’ve had the West African Gumbo, Bahn Mi, and Cuban sandwich. Again, all good food. I am happy that they are a member of the Inkind network so coming here is more wallet friendly, if you take advantage of the deals.

So I ordered the Old Saigon and the Havana sandwiches from Immigrant Food at Union Market along with a side of the Blegian fries. The service and atmosphere were amazing and keeping with the Union Market vibe as a whole. Both sandwiches were good in their own way. The Havana did not hold back on the three types of pork. They each of them cooked and prepared perfectly. The sandwich did come with a pineapple pickle that I wasn’t fond of. I understand the “wanting to put your own spin” on a traditional sandwich however I don’t think the pineapple pickle was the way to go. They also put a spin on the Bahn Mí sandwich as well using Adobe chicken as the protein. This was far more successful and made for a great sandwich. I would have like a more rustic roll on the Old Saigon but the sandwich is just fine without it. All and all a good experience and I will be going back.

I ordered the poke bowl and it was absolutely delicious – the flavors were on point and the fish tasted incredibly fresh. I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the care that went into preparing the dish.

The service was also top-notch – the staff were friendly and quick to take my order, and my food was ready in no time. I appreciated the efficiency of the service, especially since it was a busy day at the market.

Overall, I would highly recommend Immigrant Food to anyone looking for a flavorful and fresh meal. The poke bowl was a standout dish, and the service was good and efficient. I can’t wait to come back and try more items from their menu!

I got the Cuban Sandwich it was tasty and had a good amount of meat and bacon. I liked the tang of the sauce and the bread was the right amount of soft.

Extremely disappointed. The food was not bad but poor service. I asked for a receipt and never got one. The man said I had to wait for a receipt. Why am i paying a service charge on the credit card when you don’t follow through and provide a receipt. On top of that your asking for a minimum of 20% tip for take out. Complete rip off. Veggie Samosas for $14 not worth half that. I would suggest staying away if you are looking for good food and a good value. Shame on you for poor service and not providing a receipt after requesting. Seems like you are hiding something. Very disappointing

We got the curry chicken with rice, spinach, plantains, pineapple, etc. The flavors a delicious and complement each other very well! We payed $17 for each and the only reason I put 4 stars is the meal was semi-light for the price. It worked out for us, because we wanted room for dessert, but keep that in mind!

This location is inside union market. Friendly staff, happy to answer any questions. They make your food fresh after you order, so you might have to wait for it. I had the Old Saigon sandwich and Belgian fries, and pineapple matcha. The fries were amazing and the ginger was pretty decent. But that sandwich had too much going on. It was really messy and neither Caribbean or Bahm mi. Very over priced.

So delicious!!!! I ordered the Persian Plants and Peas and it was exactly what I was craving. The perfect combination of flavors….the pop of the mint, the savory lentils, and the dressing they used on the cherry tomatoes with kale and onion. The crunch of the toasted almonds on top was a nice surprise. Will definitely be back!
