My husband I stopped in for a drink and decided to stay because the bartenders and atmosphere was so inviting! So glad we did, because the entrees we ordered were as good as our handcrafted drinks! Beautiful, romantic restaurant in the heart of the mountains!

Absolutely phenomenal service: from the hostess to the bartender to the waiter. The atmosphere is dark and speakeasy-esque. The food is so good, maybe the best pork belly I’ve ever had. It was definitely not traditional Italian food, but that’s not a knock. The cheese/fruit appetizer and my wife’s pasta dish were also amazing. We will absolutely be back.

This was such a cute little spot for dinner. We also worked with the head chef to cater our wedding through our package from Castle Ladyhawke and the food was just as exceptional. The arancini and prime rib steak was awesome. From the restaurant, would highly recommend the meatball starter and cresta di gallo!

Il miglior pasto che abbia mai avuto. I lived in Italy for 4 years and I must say this meal is better than I’ve ever had. Even the bread brought me back with smell of Real Dark Green olive oil & toasted like it was freshly baked in the caves of Bagnoregio. Service was exceptional & even though I was by myself I didn’t feel alone.

Wonderful food and service. It’s a really cool little place. I definitely recommend reservations. We got there at 5 pm, and within minutes of opening they were full. Best Tiramisu I’ve ever eaten.

Found this place through a Google search when we were headed to Waynesville and felt like we hit the jackpot! The ambiance was on point, food was delicious, and cocktails were creative and perfectly executed. Service was incredible as well. What a jewel of a spot!

We popped over to Sylva from Lake Glenville on a recommendation from a head chef at another restaurant we love in Highlands. We were not disappointed! Really great atmosphere and the food was out of this world good. We started with the caccio e peppe palmeritas and it was outstanding and really unique. The watermelon salad was out of this world light and flavorful and perfect following the heavy c&p. For mains we had the mafaidini, which was wonderful and the pork chop which was perfectly cooked and despite being a heavy dish was light, delicious and not greasy in the least.
I think this is the best Italian restaurant in Western NC.

We hired Ilda to cater our wedding and they did not disappoint!! They exceeded our expectations and we are so thankful to them for making our day extra special. The food was excellent, chef set up a very cool grilling station right beside the party tent and it was so much fun to see him prepare the food right beside us. The entire team was attentive, courteous and fun. If you’re hosting an event in Sylva, highly recommend trusting Ilda with the food and service
