Located in the heart of old town Ladner, this italian gem perfectly blends a cozy, vintage ambience with an incredible farm-to-table experience. The atmosphere was lively and full of energy, making the “old-world” setting feel vibrant and welcoming.
The food was truly exceptional. Everything is sourced from nearby local stores or farms and made fresh to order, resulting in dishes bursting with bright, authentic flavors. Our server, Sunny, was the highlight of the evening, staying attentive and ensuring everything arrived perfectly on time despite the crowd.
We had an amazing time from start to finish and already can’t wait to be back!

This place is a local gem! The ambiance was beautiful and staff were friendly and helped us narrow down what to eat based on our preferences.
I had the gluten free pollo pizza and it was very good, the crust held up and it was not soggy. It was delicious. They have GF options in their pasta as well so next time I’ll be trying that.
My friend had chicken parmigiana and she loved her meal as well.
At the end of our email they brought us a small birthday dessert with a candle – it was cute and decadent and my friend got the pistachio affogato (decaf) which hit the spot!

We visited this restaurant on Saturday and ordered a Margherita pizza and a grilled chicken sandwich, which comes with a choice of salad or tomato soup—we chose the soup. Everything was freshly prepared, so there was a bit of a wait, but it was completely worth it. The pizza was absolutely first-class, baked perfectly in a proper pizza oven. The sandwich was delicious and very satisfying as well. The servers were extremely polite and provided great service. The ambiance was lovely too—calm, not overly loud, with pleasant music. We really enjoyed our experience and liked it a lot.

This was my friend’s and my first time at this restaurant, and I would give it six stars if Google Reviews had the option! Both of us brought our small dogs, and the staff provided a fantastic experience for us. They asked if we needed water bowls for our dogs, offered blankets, and even had heaters on the roof. The owner has truly made this place feel like home.
Even though there are many pet-friendly restaurants in Vancouver, most of them are narrow, cold, and have chairs right by the street with exhaust fumes from passing cars. IL Posto is so thoughtful — while being pet-friendly, it also creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere for dog owners.
I believe the owner is truly an exceptional and kind-hearted person. Thank you to the staff for the wonderful service and food options. I’ll definitely spread the word, bring more friends, and come back again soon 🙂

I first visited Il Posto in July and was recommended the pistachio pizza — it was absolutely amazing and left such a lasting impression. Since then, I’ve returned several times. The service, especially from Aili, has always been so warm and attentive. I’ve recommended this place to my friends and they all loved it too. Always a happy experience here!

I ordered two different pizzas along with a salad. Overall, everything was good—fresh ingredients, well-made crust, and timely service. The salad was crisp and well-balanced. However, the cheese on the Margherita pizza was disappointing didn’t melt well. That aside, the rest of the meal was enjoyable. I’d consider ordering again, just might skip the Margherita next time.

We celebrated our mother’s 82nd birthday at Il Posto today, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The staff took amazing care of us from start to finish — warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavour, and every dish came out perfectly timed for our group. It felt like they truly cared about making it a special day, and we’re so grateful. We regularly come here for dinner, and this restaurant is truly one of my favorites and believe me, I’m very picky when it comes to taste. Every time we visit, the quality and service are consistently excellent. My absolute favorites are the chicken and potato pizza and the bruschetta. This time I ordered takeout, and everything was still the same high quality. Highly recommend!
