A MUST Visit when you’re in Tulsa! Had the Taco Salad, it was delicious and enough to feed 3 people! Stepping into Ike’s is like stepping back in time. The nostalgia and delicious food never disappoints. The staff is wonderful, so stop in and award winning food!

We found this place online as somewhere we “had to check out”. I got the special that was Chili with beans and spaghetti with onion and cheese on the side.
Chili had no taste- which was a shame.
Hubby tried the Coney Island Dogs- more bread than filling- but he enjoyed them.
The service and atmosphere were great – it really started to fill up with people as we left.

Iconic, a must visit for people wanting to know what roadside culinary delights awaited travelers on the Mother Road Route 66. We must not forget the storied past of these storied establishments. Go order a three way and large Dr Pepper today!

Fun place to stop for a bowl of chili. I’m a sucker for a coney dog and they had 3 for $10.
The chili was good, but the dog to bun ratio was a bit off. The waitress mentioned they were small like “Coney Island dogs” but I’m from the NE and coney dogs are full sized dogs 😉
Next time I’d just have a bowl of chili.
I did read on another site the chili was spicy- not at all the case. Good taste and they have some spicy sauce to add to it but not spicy chili.

Great chili since 1908! Traditional diner atmosphere. Service is warm and friendly. The Three way Special is the”go to” meal. Chili is very easy to eat-seasoned just right. Add cheese and onions to make it extra Special

Great chili! The best in town, final answer. They are obsessive about quality, and it shows. They grind their own cuts of beef in a vintage grinder from the 1930s. They use beef shoulder cuts and it’s not cheap. They won 3 World Chili Competitions so that says it all. Ohhh…desserts. If you are a native Tulsan then three words for you: Black Bottom pie. Get there ASAP and tell Chauncey “Hi”.

As someone from the Northeast, I had never tried a real southern chili before. My mind was blown. I have been actively missing it for almost a week. It was rich without being heavy, deeply savory, and I appreciated how mild it was so I could choose my spice level. The smell inside the restaurant is amazing. It was full of guys chatting with each other and you could tell they’d been going there forever. Our server was chill and checked on us regularly without being too much. I hope I get an opportunity to visit again sometime because I know for a fact I won’t be able to find anything like this here at home and that makes me sad.

I’ve lived in the Tulsa area for 30 years and have never tried Ike’s Chili….first timer!! I was surprised at the size of the dining room(s) the place doesn’t look that big from the front. I ordered the three coneys special with chips and a drink. The waitress was super friendly! The only complaint would be the coney buns weren’t super fresh….the chili was good and they give you the onions & cheese on the side so you can add as much as you want. Good experience….can’t wait to try something else!

I planned on trying Ike’s Chili for months as we planned our Route 66 trip. Thank you for not disappointing my expectations. If you are in Tulsa, it is worth the stop!

So good! The food comes out so quickly, I’m not sure you’re even done ordering before its on the plate. Definitely a staple of Tulsa and of American cuisine in general. You get a feel of the stories that building could tell just from looking at the decor outside.
