This Alvany Ga Starbucks location is by far my favorite store. The staff always says good morning and calls me by my name . I love seeing them every morning. Service is fast and always right! Jennifer and her staff is the best.

Upon speaking with an kind associate worker regarding Leftover Coffee Grounds (for my garden); I was instructed to come inside and pick it up. Once I arrived (around 9:30am), I went inside – Stood at one end of the two counters (NEVER being greeted or acknowledged) for almost 5+ minutes. I then decided to go to the other counter and still I was ignored for almost ANOTHER 5+ minutes… I’m a very patient person! Finally, a worker turned to me and said “I’ll be with you in a moment” – that took another 3 minutes. FINALLY, I was able to tell her why I was there; she then instructed a VERY SWEET young lady to give me the box containing bag-wrapped coffee grounds; but that kind girl told her that she’ll CARRY IT TO MY CAR (I’m 68 and physically restricted, and that girl didn’t even know that); she was just being kind. It was extremely cold and windy outside but she didn’t mind. There were 4-5 workers that saw me standing there, but no one seemed to care… Except for the one who helped service me! I’m so sorry for them because it appears that PEOPLE don’t seem to matter that much; they didn’t even know if I needed to place an order. I hope that management can correct this with their employees… They need to be reminded that Customers are “People First” and NOT just Consumers!

It has been a little while since I’ve been inside the store. I’m fond of relaxing and reading in coffee shops as a little weekend treat for myself. With the holidays over, I have time to do so again.

What I saw this morning was upsetting. All of the tables were arranged directly in the middle of the room highschool cafeteria style, and the “lounge” has been replaced with souless pleather bound, armless chairs, some in a corner while others in a high traffic area to the sides of the sales shelf.

No coziness or privacy, the new set up screams: ️ We do not want you lingering! Grab your stuff and GET OUT! ️

Starbucks is far too expensive to treat its interiors like a carry out. I wouldn’t want to go here with friends and chat and catch up for a bit over drinks, let alone sit by myself and read a chapter or two. Truly depressing when Wendy’s and McDonald’s offers more comfort and intimacy with its seating.

Albany Georgia is spoiled for coffee houses, and I can’t imagine picking this place for my little piece of quiet anymore.

I ordered my usual(what I get EVERY Starbucks trip,) which is a White Mocha Frappucino, add peppermint syrup and top with vanilla sweet cold foam. I was handed a very dark beverage in the drive thru. I quickly handed it back to them, and stated that my white mocha frappucinos are usually light in color. The worker seemed irritated, grabbed the drink and closed the window. A few minutes passed, and he opened the window and handed me another drink. (That looks and tastes nothing like what I ordered.) I’m very disappointed, but I took the loss and avoided another disappointed look and drove off. The drink I got is basically just milk with chocolate shavings in it. Not a hint of peppermint. Very disappointed! This is the first time that this location hasn’t lived up to my expectations!

Axel was the best! He was so knowledgeable, he asked what did I like and gave suggestions that changed my whole entire order! In the best way possible!!! Thank you and keep up the great work axel! You cannot upsale or sale anything without product knowledge, and that he had! If o had a company I would hire axel because he showed knowledge and confidence in. The product he was selling!

In town for clinical rotation. Needed a hot cup of coffee to get through the night. Tell me why this kid serve my coffee like this? With it spilled everywhere and no coffee cup sleeve. I normally wouldn’t be bothered by that but this coffee, for some reason, was extra, extra, hot. I could not even hold it. I had to ask for napkins since he didn’t even seemed bothered by the fact that my cup was spilled everywhere. To make matter worse, he messed up my SIMPLE coffee order. I ordered a medium roast coffee with cream and sugar on the side. He gave me the cream on the side but proceeded to pump 4 pumps of brown sugar syrup into my coffee…I should have known something was off when I saw the screen flashed quickly and I saw some additional charge added.

Was denied the use of my employee benefits that are given from corporate because of store ‘policy’. Policy does not trump corporate. An employee Skyla told me after denying my benefits that it was due to the store manger and district manager and when asking for their contact info they said they do not have it as they removed their business cards. This place is riddled with red flags. There was also 0 writing on any of the 3 drinks I ordered which is mandatory per Starbucks corporate policy. Please avoid.

I love the new look… I wish the sitting/waiting areas were larger. I loved to just sit there and allow the aroma & sounds of busy life carry me away while there having a Refresher or meeting for a small meeting.

I came this morning for red cup day! The older lady said I shouldn’t receive a red cup despite the fact that I had holiday cold foam on my beverage. My iced latte was pretty nasty as if the espresso was bad. I did not have a written message on my cup when two other people beside me had something written on theirs. I hate to say that this ruined my red cup day experience! Starbucks just is not what it used to be!
