This morning, my wife and I had very pleasant experience at IHOP on Canal Street in Kennewick. We came in on a very busy morning with a massive line out the door, but the young staff handled it incredibly well. Everyone was professional, kind, and clearly working hard, and they still went out of their way to help people and keep things moving smoothly.
The food was good as usual, exactly what you expect from IHOP, but what really stood out was the service. Even under pressure, the staff stayed positive and welcoming, which made the wait feel much easier. I was genuinely impressed and would happily come back.

Great breakfast for dinner spot with the kids eat free deal. Reasonable for breakfast usually if you get whatever special is going on, and the kids like the special kid pancakes. I’d say if you’re not getting a special or kids eating free there’s no reason to choose IHOP over a local diner, but the specials or free kid’s meal can make it worth it. Food is always alright, nothing special but consistent.

I went monday 21 april and The waitress was amazing! Haha, we were only going to order one mimosa, and she convinced us — in such a fun and subtle way — to get the whole bottle. She’s the kind of waitress who makes the whole experience so enjoyable. I love her.

Pretty consistent food, service and seating. Tips and eggs are my go to, pancakes for the kiddo They had AYCE option on the pancakes and they brought back the flavored syrups! Last time they had a coffee cake and it was awesome. Kids Menu has options and they give you crayons Typically go for breakfast, it’s in the top 5 of our Tri Cities spots.

I think there was about 35 people there and one over worked yet very pleasant and efficient server. I bet she could have been even more impressive if she had proper support and a cook that new the difference between over hard and over soft and knew how to portion and microwave a side of gravey. But two tablespoons of cold gravy made a huge impact on the dining experience. She earned the fifteen dollar tip and the chicken fried steak consistently delivers.

Gretchen was so wonderful, I have never in my life been attended so perfect, she made us feel like family and was very friendly and affectionate, most places people are in a hurry but she was so good and kind to us and brightened our whole day and we will never forget her service and being so attentive so our family, thank you Gretchen we can’t wait to see you again !!❤️❤️❤️

Food was mediocre. Staff was appropriate but not overly friendly. I think the prices do not match the quality of food. Two people having a meal was $49. Probably not going to visit again.

I had a side of biscuits and gravy, did you know their biscuits aren’t baked? They are cooked on the friddle just like their pancakes, they tasted like biscuits, but were shaped like pancakes. Their new breakfast sandwich was made with these unique biscuits, it was very filling and came with a side of hash browns. I ended up taking half of it home. Next time I’ll remember to ask for the 2 eggs on the sandwich to be over easy, not cooked medium. All in all it was a good breakfast experience.

Came here Christmas morning for breakfast as they were one of the only places open. Busy but they got us in quickly for a large party. We love ihop pancakes. Service was great. It didn’t go smoothly but again they were busy and they were quick to fix. Food tasted good but it came out warm like it had been left for a while. French toast sticks were yummy. Great prices for a large family!
