We stopped in for a late breakfast at this IHOP on Tulare Street and were immediately seated. Only about one third of the tables had customers so we had good service throughout our visit.
As we have come to expect from the IHOP restaurants, the coffee was fresh and they left the carafe at our table to refill our cups as we like.
Both of our meals were tasty and still fairly hot. If you’ve ever worked in a diner, you know that serving a hot breakfast can be a challenge even if the restaurant isn’t busy.
My wife’s scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and my over easy eggs were cooked perfectly.
The bacon could have been cooked just a bit longer even if you don’t like it crisp. The hash browns and sausage were perfect as was the French toast.
The gravy on the biscuits was just a bit bland though I suppose many would disagree.
The restaurant was clean and organized. If we’re ever in this part of town again, we would not hesitate to eat here again.

Jennifer our server was amazing.!!! We came for breakfast yesterday morning and her hospitality, her customer service, her kindness, she treated us like family. You do not get customer service like that anywhere at all anymore. She constantly came to check in on us, (family of 6) god bless her. Please if the manager is reading this, give this woman a raise and a promotion, this is the kind of employee you want to lead your team. You can tell she really comes to work to serve others, not to just clock in. Jennifer, if you are reading this thank you again so much for everything <3

Ordered this for my break and didn’t eat till my lunch cause it took literally 1 hour and 45 mins. By then my food was cold. Not to mention they forgot my drink
Update: its been a while since we came to this location since it was closed down for a while for construction or something. Anyway took our kids yesterday and im impressed how delicious everything we ordered was. Waiter was on task and constant with our drink refills and was nice and friendly. Only down side was parking was a bit crowded but other than that service and food was on point. Only thing i didn’t take a picture was their new buttermilk biscuit because i ordered it late but omg it was delicious and flaky. Definitely ordering that every time.

Me and my girlfriend always come here, plus it’s down the block from where I live. Only thing that sucks is the crazy amount of money everything has gotten. We both always get the Sirloin Tips, and it comes out to $64 . But overall, great place, great customer service!!!!

The staff and service at this IHOP location are commendable. However, I must admit that the egg Benedict dish I ordered left me a bit perplexed. It didn’t quite meet my expectations of what an eggs Benedict should be. This rendition fell short of capturing the essence of this classic dish. Despite this disappointment, the overall experience was still pleasant, thanks to the attentive staff and service.
