This place is definitely a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. You pull right off the intersection to park. You can order on a tablet and customize as much as you want. The wait is reasonable and you can tell they put care into making the food. It tastes so amazing, I cannot recommend enough! Also, you can tell they care about this place. The table I came to was spotless with a full bottle of soy sauce and plenty of napkins. They have free water cups available as well.

They had a decent amount of customers for the dinner rush, but the fish looked fresh. I liked that the geisha burrito was all seafood and has
zero rice. I was stuffed from it and put leftovers in my hotel fridge. It’s a tiny restaurant: like the size of a single wide trailer park mobile home.

I like sushi burritos, personally. It’s a lot of food, and if you get a raw one, it might feel like a waste. I have tried the citrus sushi burrito and their fried cream cheese. Service is quick, but feels like a while. Store isn’t totally inviting on the inside, but the food is. Great place to splurge on some sushi and feel happy and full.

If you want really good food and don’t plan on staying with friends, this is the place to go. It’s got the vibes of a safe dive bar. It’s geared towards people that are by themselves and are taking it home to eat half (you’ll likely only have room for half at once). Great for leftovers.

The good here is really good. The only complaint I have is that the burrito sized sushi is so thick that it can be difficult to eat sometimes. But on the positive, you get loads of the filling and all for a reasonable price. Everything I’ve had here was great, and I would be happy to come back again

I ordered the spicy tuna burrito, and it was mostly crab, barely any spicy tuna. It wasn’t terrible, but I don’t like crab that much. I ordered it deep fried and it took about a half hour to 45 minutes to receive my order even though there was only one couple there when I ordered. When it finally came out, it was very hot. It took me a half hour to eat it and the last bite was still pretty hot. The burrito was big and filling. They charge you for sauce and even if it is a nominal amount, I am not a fan of that.

The food is excellent. But the service is terrible. We were helped by a Hispanic man. We asked if we could change the fish in one burrito for another option and what he could offer instead. He yelled at us and said he didn’t understand what we wanted and that we should just tell him.

He gave the food to people who arrived after us, and it took a hour. This is my fifth time coming here, and the other times—without this man—have been wonderful; we even choose to eat here. Today we just wanted him to give us our food so we could leave and eat somewhere else.

I love the food. I always get the volcano roll. It never disappoints. Here is where I have some input.

They charge $0.50 for a tiny sauce cup. Their burritos are huge!
They don’t have a drinking fountain or any source of water other than water bottles which you also have to pay for.
The insulation makes it cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

Will this detour me from making this one of my top 10 favorite places to eat? No. But it could definitely improve a lot.

A sushi burrito is truly God’s gift to this earth and Sushi Burrito on 8th is doing the Lord’s work. Listen, this place is never going to win awards for ambiance. There is a faded sign and a side door that leads you to this no frills literal hole in the wall. If you are over 6 feet tall you will likely have to duck but I’d crawl through a tunnel to get back to this gem. The salmon was so fresh which I always appreciate and deeply critique in a land locked state. My only regret is that we simply couldn’t try more burritos! I can’t wait to double fist these amalgamations from the Heavens in the future!

Great spot for a cheap sushi burrito (around $10-$12). Would be nice to have more options without crab, as I don’t eat crab, but otherwise was a very tasty budget meal. Kinda of a lil hole in the wall spot, not fancy inside or anything, which I don’t mind for a cheap meal. Would definitely eat there more if I lived in SLC.
