I felt pretty bad we were walking in at 9:11pm and they were seemingly getting ready to close. The waitress we had was wonderful. Attentive and friendly, responsive. When it came time to pay our bill, my husband’s card declined. The waitress returned and advised it didn’t go thru. My husband spent 15 minutes trying to get the app to work and it was glitching repeatedly. At this point the manager came over. Asked if everything was okay. My husband said we were trying to figure it out and that we will pay. I advised we would pay as well. The manager proceeded to say ‘if you don’t it comes out of her check.’ Which is an insult to us. When a customer advises they will pay repeatedly and we aren’t actively trying to get up and leave the restaurant acting as if we aren’t paying, then this response was not necessary. Nor should it EVER be on the waitress to pay for the service if someone cannot pay. If you need to go to a restaurant later at night, I would choose another one. The only reason why I gave the rating I did was because the waitress doesn’t deserve the negativity from the rating. IHOP needs to train their management employees some customer service and empathy.

Went in for a nice meal with my fiancé, only to face a very uncomfortable situation. The waitress, Diane, that was supposed to take the order, apparently refused to. Yes, I used to know this woman years ago. I’m not sure why she had to act so unprofessionally. I felt the tension the entire time when I was just there to eat. The manager (took her place), however, was extremely kind and the food was really good. Unfortunately, I’ll no longer be going back here since it’s apparently an issue

Eggs weren’t even cooked and then the waitress gave me a smug look and said “those are over easy.” Hey, I said over easy, not take it easy. Then I asked for them to get me over medium because I don’t want to feel like Rocky, drinking egg whites and raw yolks. When she brought them out, not a sorry, not a here you go, I got a “this is over medium actually”, (they were over easy.) Took forever to even take our order and there was nobody in there. Not a single refill. This is Ihop, an American staple of home style breakfast with questionable black coffee not questionable eggs.

Breakfast for dinner is always my choice and the ham and cheese omelet is my go to favorite. My experience a week prior was all 5 stars but this past week not so much. The server appeared to have an attitude. I always get toast instead of pancakes but she r we fused saying they couldn’t substitute regardless that all others do this exchange. I should of asked for the manager right then. The toast was cold and like a croutons texture and I was upcharge almost $4 for it. When she came back I told her and she responded “well what do you want me to do about it now” she was not a good waitress and I could go on but if she is there again, I will eat elsewhere!!!

It seems like IHOP has gone downhill in recent years. The food was okay, but nothing special. I had one of the burritos, which was not too bad, but it was heavily lacking in flavor. The waitress was nice and very patient with my children when they were deciding what they wanted. The price isn’t terrible, but it’s also not amazing with how the food quality is.

Let me start by saying the place was hoppin’ and it did take a while to get our food. However, our server kept the coffee coming and once the food arrived, it was definitely tasty! They did accidently bring me the wrong item, but fixed it rather quickly, so with that and the wait, I can’t give em 5 stars.

Even though the staff was courteous, the service and food was severely lacking in any semblance of the quality that is expected from the typical IHOP experience. We had to wait twenty minutes for our food to come out. When the food finally came out, our dissatisfaction only grew. My sunny side up eggs had runny whites, my wife’s waffles were cold, all our drinks left empty for extended periods, and now I’ve been waiting ten minutes for the semi-existent waitress to come pick up my credit card. You’d be better served by going to
McDonald’s and will have saved $30. The worst part of it all— the restaurant is practically empty. The lack of attentiveness and culinary professionalism is appalling.

On arrival we were told 15 minute wait which was completely acceptable, we ended up waiting almost an hour again totally fine we were just hungry and understanding. We finally get to the table and the waitress was immediately rude with a disgusting attitude they looked short staffed so again we were understanding and super nice she got our drinks and immediately wanted our orders. She checked on us one time after getting our food with attitude , never came back for refills or our check another table next to us had to ask the manager for their check as well as did we. We were honestly ready to get out of there. The food was amazing though pumpkins pancakes were a hit. Absolutely awful terrible service, not once did she smile greet or had a positive attitude. Manager was very nice and apologetic we got our refills to go and left.
