What a good place to have lunch. We meet here with family and enjoyed our time here. This restaurant is next door to the mayor’s office. As a child I remember this building as a little grocery store. Morrisons. Now a very nice restaurant. Good food. Down home cooking. Good service. Thank you.

Came in from out of town (work related) and just wanted to grab something before heading out. Just did a Google search and Ida’s popped up. Stellar service, from all the employees but especially my server Hannah (hope I spelled that right). I ordered the chicken fried steak with homemade fries, and washed it down with ice tea. My meal came out SUPER quick, it was hot, and you could cut the steak with your fork. The homemade fries with gravy were BOMB. Even the ice tea was way above par, and Hannah hooked me up with a to go cup since I was traveling back to WV. SERIOUSLY, if you’re in Woodsfield, just go there. If I’m close to that area, I’m going back, as I really love the local mom and pop places like this that serve a variety of regular folk food, at a great price, and back it all up with even better service.

Great small town atmosphere where everyone comes together! Clean and quaint. Home cooked style menu. Had the Meatloaf Dinner with fries covered in gravy. Best Meatloaf this side of Mom’s! Had green peppers and that added a great flavor. My wife had the grilled chicken dinner with fresh cut fries and loved it. Portions are large, so if you want dessert, plan ahead. We’ll be back.

Cute little diner in a small town. Breakfast was good. They offer pancakes, french toast, biscuits and gravy, eggs, toast, pie and many more delicious options. The bacon was really good and the sausage was mildly flavored. Seat yourself kind of establishment. Has a restroom for customers with good toilet paper.

Definitely home cook style food and family oriented service. Breakfast menu is the best. I left my daughter’s cup on the table and came back to find they washed it for me. You can’t get that kind of luv&care from a franchise.

I got a hot ham and cheese with fries and a sweet tea, all for $9 94. It was a nice and friendly atmosphere, the waitresses were nice and professional. The food was good and not to expensive and I got a bunch of fries.

Roast Beef Special was delicious. Very nice relaxing restaurant. Has a nice salad bar. Other items on the menu were reasonably priced. Service was excellent. It was a Sunday afternoon around 1:30. Coffee was great and kept toped off. I would recommend this little Jewel.
