Don’t even bother. “The customer is always right” is not even a consideration here even when the customer is so plainly right that it’s not even questionable. As someone who has spent over a year of life in Eastern Asia, these people should be ashamed of themselves for how they represent their culture. After ordering the Tofu Hibachi Combination, which in very clear detail, is explained to include a cup of miso soup and a house salad, among other items, those two items were never brought to us. Unfortunately, we did not realize until we were about to leave as we were hungry and excited to eat what was brought to us. Before leaving, we noticed other tables with miso soup, and so we thought that it should be no big deal to bring up to staff that we were under the impression that we should have received those two items and never did. Unfortunately, the waitress – who, mind you, was already short-mannered, averagely friendly at best, and did not course out food in appropriate timing (We did not have an opportunity to finish our small app before all of the rest of the food was brought out.) – immediately copped a defensive attitude and essentially tried to explain to us that we had declined those items (which never happened). I had told her that that did not make any sense and that there should have been no confusion as the menu clearly states that those items are included. Instead of taking any responsibility, she continued to verbally fight with me, AND her colleague joined her in doing so. After minutes of pestering us with an attitude that seemed to ask us why we would even dare to bring up their wrongdoing, they finally asked us what they would like us to do. I told them that to have those two items to-go would be the least, and without telling us anything, our waitress disappeared to take much longer than necessary to retrieve those items. Unfortunately, amidst all this, they had provoked another customer (who did not understand our situation) to come to their aid, and of course, they made it clear that they accepted her support. Just an idea – perhaps the point of service should not be on top of a table in the first place. All in all, it was a horrible experience, and the food did not even wow us, making it completely not worthy of any of that debacle. Needless to say, causing two pleasant customers (who were originally happy to dine and simply confused about their order) escalated distress is INSANE. I am so sorry to write a review like this, but I cannot allow people looking for an enjoyable dining experience to not be aware of this situation. It is SHAMEFUL.

Fantastic quiet spot for dinner. The service was very kind and personal, sushi was presented beautifully and was fresh and soft. The baked French Kiss roll was so indulgent and is definitely the best baked/crunchy roll I’ve had. Highly recommend ICHII Sushi and can’t wait to go back!!

This was my first visit to ICHII Sushi, and I have to say it might just become my new favorite sushi spot. The menu was impressive, offering a perfect balance of rolls, making it easy for everyone to find something they’ll love.

I started with the miso soup, which was warm, flavorful. Then came the star of the night the MT Gritty roll absolutely amazing! The texture, flavor, and presentation were spot on, with just the right mix of crunch and freshness.

Overall, this restaurant is pretty good! The late hours are a big plus for me since I can satisfy my late-night sushi cravings. The prices are also very reasonable—much cheaper than most places nearby. The rolls are a bit smaller (same number of pieces, just a little less filling per piece), but the quality makes up for it.

I also really like that it’s family-owned; it gives the place a cozy, homey vibe. I’ve tried many of their rolls—my favorites are the Lemon Tree and the Aroma Roll. The udon is also great!

Between the food, price, and friendly atmosphere, Ichii Sushi is definitely worth a visit. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for good, affordable sushi, especially late at night.

Terrible hospitality. They rushed us through our entire stay and essentially kicked us out so they could close up. Extremely rude behavior from the staff. Save your money and go somewhere that actually wants your business.

I am responding to your reply because it misrepresents the actual events.

To be clear: we arrived before 10:30 PM, and at that time, 3 to 4 tables were already full with other customers. When we placed our order, the staff member explicitly told us it would take 20 minutes to be ready. At no point during the order or while we were clearly seated at our table for the first 5 minutes were we informed that dining-in was not allowed or that we had to take the food to go.

Because we were told it would take 20 minutes, we stepped out for just 10 minutes to grab a coffee. When we returned to eat the food we had just purchased and sat back down, we were met with confrontational and unprofessional behavior. A staff member approached us in an aggressive and dismissive manner, demanding we leave immediately while we were in the middle of our first bite.

The issue here is not about store hours; it is about a complete lack of basic hospitality. If your policy was carry-out only, that should have been communicated clearly at the point of sale—not through a hostile confrontation after we had already been sitting at a table and waiting for the time your own staff provided.

Calling a customer a ‘liar’ does not change the fact that your staff failed to communicate your policies at the point of sale and instead chose to be confrontational. I have no reason to make this up; I am simply sharing a very disappointing experience in hopes that your hospitality improves.

One of the best sushi places around.
We’ve been coming here for a little over a year since we discovered this establishment.
We were blown away by the overall quality of the fish and rolls. Every bite tastes perfect, like how authentic sushi should taste. Don’t let the obscure location fool you! We drive almost 40 minutes out of our way to get take out on a regular basis, or on rare occasions take friends here.
They are also very accommodating. I am slightly picky with sushi, and I like to request additions or substitutions on my rolls. They are happy to oblige. Just make sure you are aware that there is sometimes an extra cost to do so.
My partner loves the Rainbow roll, the Red Wing roll, the Dragon roll and the aroma roll, on occasion. All selections of fish, shrimp and eel taste extremely fresh, with a great flavor. You won’t taste anything “fishy” about this place, lol.
I usually get the “Special California roll”, which is no longer on the menu but they seem to be happy to make it for me. I get redfin tuna on top. The crab salad mixture they use is spot on. The Waikiki roll is a close second for me as well, if you’re a fan of pineapple in your sushi. To be honest, we have never gone wrong with a single dish here. Their pan fried pork and chicken dumplings are absolutely delicious too. The one gripe we have is that their miso soup is basically a cup of flavored broth, with barely any seaweed or tofu in it. You may be lucky enough to get 1-3 cubes in a serving.
As long as this place doesn’t change ANYTHING about the quality of their seafood they source, or raise prices to a ridiculous level – like some places do after they become “well known”, we will be loyal customers forever. If anything changes, I’ll be sure to come back here to update my review, and I may even share a somewhat “secret” sushi spot that we also love getting delicious and authentic sushi from, when Ichii isn’t open.
Please do not change Ichii, we adore you!

Excellent, highly recommend. Took a group of people with all different tastes and everyone was very pleased. The avocado bomb was a huge hit as were the tempura appetizers. The rolls were fresh and delicious. Fast and friendly service, the restaurant was immaculate. We will definitely return.
