Food was on point! Great little spot with authentic taste and fresh ingredients. My Wife (Mexican) and I have been looking for a local spot with great Mexican food. Having grown up most my life in South Texas, I’m usually very picky about Mexican or Tex-Mex food. This place was really good. If I had to pick on this to improve on, it would be to salt the chips.
Suggestion for a new item: I would love if carne guisada could make it to the menu. I grew up eating toasted torta with fresh avocado, lettuce, tomato, and carne guisada with the gravy spilling out of the sandwich.

The food tasted like authentic, homemade Mexican dishes that reminded me of my grandma’s cooking growing up. This place truly felt like home. The service was wonderful, and both the waitress and the owner were kind and welcoming. And the horchata was the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

First time trying this place out and this is by far the best Mexican food i’ve had on this island. The Horchata has a perfect blend of sweetness, cinnamon and really smooth. California burrito was a nice size and filling. The queso was delicious.

All I can say is I enjoyed my desserts, did a little happy dance. And was very satisfied by the staff, theyre very tentative and asked questions before recommending items especially allergies. Im not allergic but I appreciated the care and thought. Loved it!

was expecting much more from Fritos as a local Mexican restaurant, but the experience was disappointing. I ordered the veggie burrito, and it arrived cold. The burrito only contained rice, beans, peppers, and guacamole — no cilantro, no onion, no cheese, no sour cream, no pico, nothing that gives it real flavor or authenticity.
The peppers were cold and hard, clearly undercooked, and the tortilla itself wasn’t warm or grilled/pressed at all. Overall, the burrito lacked warmth, seasoning, and the basic elements I’d expect from a Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately, it didn’t feel authentic or thoughtfully prepared.
2 stars for the restaurant atmosphere it was nice and clean

Our daughter delivers food and she was telling us the crazy amount of orders from this place and we should try it out. Well we should have went sooner. It is amazing food. Great service and I will pay the price for the quality and authenticity. We will be back- often LOL.

Awesome food and service. Not many tables but we didn’t have to wait as it was a weeknight. Staff are friendly. You can see how popular the place is with take out orders piled up. Carne asada tacos were fantastic.

Great food. Rare to find good Mexican food in Hawaii, but this place hit the spot. Small place with only a few tables but great flavor and very friendly staff. I liked the pastor tacos very much. I would come back any time.

Best chimichanga’s ever and I don’t eat them. I ordered a vegetarian and it comes w rice and beans inside. Next time I won’t order the plate since it comes w the sides built in. The brother had a California burrito (has fries inside) and it’s his favorite. The Mr had the Classic chimichanga plate and wouldn’t stop talking about it all the way home. Perfectly fried and fluffy inside.
They have a tiny squeeze bottle of sauce that looks like sour cream mixed with hot sauce-but don’t be fooled-it’s hot sauce and it’s hot! And awesome!
The only downfall is we live in town and will have to drive all the way to Ewa for this heavenly place. Hint hint-pls build one in town.
