Its location in the largely-abandoned HarMar Mall shouldn’t dissuade you from going. The interior is well kept. My waiter was helpful and I was happy with the edamame and ramen I got. You can tell they’re putting effort in despite being one of the only food places left at HarMar.

Say “HI” to Ronnie when you go in. He is a wonderful person to talk to and very knowledgeable about his food and about the restaurant. A great person. Food was served hot and fresh and this was my first time to visit. Positive atmosphere.

Food was good, no complaints here. A decent sized bowl of ramen & takoyakis were warm & soft. Would return for a good bowl of ramen.

Service was just a little slow but it looks like there was only 1 person serving as host, waiter and cashier.

If I could give ten stars, I would! I couldn’t even wait until I got home to write this review. Fantastic portions, kind service that is very people-focused, excellent recommendation of food upon asking the server what he thought was better. I had the new Spicy Miso Ramen, which was perfect. We will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu!

Decided to try and new restraunt and were so glad we choose this one! The food and service was wonderful! I did feel bad for the server cause he was the only one but he was still so kind despite how busy they were! Also they catered to my gluten free needs! 10/10 please go!!!

I love this place environment and food but yesterday 03/07 our experience was amazing!!! The server was working the whole place and he handled it great! Accurate, on time and still made the time to chat with us and make experience unique. Definitely customer service makes a difference, Lony deserves a raise 🙂

I was literally the only person in the restaurant on a Tuesday night. So the mood was very quiet, but the giant sumo painting was nostalgic. Any street fighter fans?
Anyway, I had the Spicy Miso Ramen with a Sapporo. The Miso broth wasn’t too hot, so the noodles were luke warm at best. I really liked that this restaurant gives you a full soft boiled egg. But only two pieces of char siu. I was looking for a salty deep umami flavor, but the broth wasn’t spicy and a little on the bland side. The service was fine. The environment reminded me a bit of tokyo with an American twist. But honestly, the food (at least the Miso ramen) wasn’t amazing. I’m not sure if I’ll go back to eat.

This was my first experience eating at a noodle place and it was great. The restaurant is very clean and I felt they did a good job sanitizing the tables prior to eating and as part of the clean up. The food was very good, you must try the bun appetizers they are something new for me also. I cant wait to go back and have one of the chicken and pork. The fried dumplings are another great choice, everything looked good. I love a beer once in awhile with my food, and the beer prices are also very reasonable. I would go here if it was closer to home and just have a beer at the bar. Cant wait to go back when in that part of town. The wait staff was on the mark and they well deserved a good tip.

Food was extremely bad at this location. Char Siu donburi smelled and tasted like jalapeno despite not having any. Niku soba ramen was severely bland- broth is supposed to be a dark brown color, tasting like caramelized onions. Instead it was a pale broth with little to no flavor. Gyoza was extremely tough to chew and dry.

After this, I called to speak to the store to attempt to get a refund as we now have $65 worth of food we can’t eat and upset stomaches. Manager proceeded to argue telling us we were wrong about all our complaints.

They have other reviews on here advising of poor food and service, and they threaten with legal steps after telling you you’re lying.

Don’t go here, go to Ishita Ramen in St. Paul- much better.
