We stopped here randomly…after entering the town. Seemed like a cool spot – don’t even a small shack that says banana splits on the outside. BUT when we tried the “frutti tutti” ice cream, could tell that they just but vanilla ice cream and basically the most artificial flavoring you could ever find…and food coloring. When we got blueberry, it was a little improvement but definitely blueberry…more like a blueberry muffin with a single blueberry. We at least killed some time and got a sugar high!

Ice cream is delicious, staff is friendly, but be prepared to stand in line for awhile. Picnic tables with umbrellas set up to enjoy the treats and right next door to a couple of thrift shops to browse when you’re done or grab a sub before and finish with some ice cream. Within a few minutes walk to the main drag where you’ll find a lot of other little fun things to do.

This was really convenient to the antique mall across the street. I don’t often have ice cream, & I’m a simple man, so a vanilla milkshake hit the spot. The guy working the place was very polite & fast, as he was quite busy being alone & having a bit of an afternoon rush to handle by himself. Compared to how much a milkshake can cost other places, the five bucks was worth it.

I loved the ice cream from the Ice Cream Depot. I had a sundae and my wife a swirl cone. Both were delicious. The staff was good and friendly. No complaints from visiting this tasty local ice cream stand.
