We stopped at Huskey’s on Thursday (10/27/22), just shy of them closing for the season on 10/29. Upon arrival, it wasn’t super clear if we were able to order at the outdoor walk-up windows or if we had to go in, so we just walked inside. They have a decently-sized indoor dining area and also some outdoor seating. The staff was busy, but cordial and speedy.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a vegan option at Huskey’s! The veggie dog was only $2. It seems to be a Lightlife brand dog in a sunny bun which is egg and dairy free. It would be great to see some vegan ice cream options (perhaps a dairy free sorbet or smoothie) in the future!

This is a terrific local spot for ice cream and fast food like hamburgers, dogs and fries. Not fancy but the ice cream was great! Tasted home made. Generous scoops and friendly service. Definitely check it out for local flavor!

My family and I had hotdogs with fries and onion rings, along with soft drinks and a milkshake. Afterwards, we had ice cream and sundaes. The food was very good and so was our service. Even though it was very busy, we didn’t have to wait too long on our food. Well done!

This place use to be really great, but the last few times we order, we never get what we ordered. One of the girls was really rude to my sister, she asked for and old fashioned soda. The girl made a milkshake and when my sister brought it back she just dumped it in another cup and added soda water making it more nasty than when it started. I ordered a hot fudge cake Sunday for my son, but ended up with a ice cream with hot fudge and Carmel on it. I asked if cake was in the cup she said yes, which it wasn’t. We spend alot of money every year their but now after several different attempts we decided just to go somewhere else. It’s sad because it use to be really good, it use to be one of out favorite ice cream places.
