We stopped at Huskey’s on Thursday (10/27/22), just shy of them closing for the season on 10/29. Upon arrival, it wasn’t super clear if we were able to order at the outdoor walk-up windows or if we had to go in, so we just walked inside. They have a decently-sized indoor dining area and also some outdoor seating. The staff was busy, but cordial and speedy.
I went in specifically to get their pumpkin soft serve; however, they also offer options hand scooped ice cream, milkshakes, dumplings, and ice cream pies. I got a large cup of a swirl with both pumpkin and black walnut soft serve. Both ice creams had great flavor, but I especially loved the black walnut soft serve. I always heard good things about Huskey’s (specifically in Cross Lanes) and I can see why. I’ll definitely be back when they reopen in 2023!

The Anderson Family have done an excellent job with Huskeys! Always delicious ice cream, fun atmosphere at the Dairy Bar, Party or a County Fair. Plus the Dairy Bar is always clean inside and out.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a vegan option at Huskey’s! The veggie dog was only $2. It seems to be a Lightlife brand dog in a sunny bun which is egg and dairy free. It would be great to see some vegan ice cream options (perhaps a dairy free sorbet or smoothie) in the future!

We Literally love them. The girls (and guys) lol are really friendly and sweet. The food is so good and the prices are great. We literally go there probably 2 or 3 times a week. Even though they’re busy quite often, the service is always great.

How this place has 4.6 stars, let alone repeating customers, I have no clue. I walked in with my wife and wasn’t greated. The young mad with glasses said ” are you ready to order” i said not yet and he walked away. Normally at an ice cream place someone would ask if you want to try a flavor or help a customer order but no he just walked to the back to talk with his fellow co workers. He came back out and asked are yall ready to order yet and I said no not yet and he just walked off with an attitude as if I am a waist of his time. We did not order. I am a store manager in the restaurant business and if someone treated my customer like this they would be looking for another job. Absolutely pitiful service.

Our daughter took us to eat for a quick lunch. The hotdogs were so delicious! Absolutely a West Virginia hot dog with that toasted bun loaded. Great place. The milkshakes were delicious also.
