I had Vermicelli w grilled pork, shrimp, & eggrolls. Found a strange item in the salad portion of the plate after 3 bites in. Could NOT finish the rest of my food. Had to trash it. Food was bland and definitely NOT made fresh. The whole meal was disgusting! Wasted my money.

This place has to be the Best Pho place in Fresno hands down! Haha well imo that is now… There’s so many options of Asian dishes on the menu. And their BBQ Pork Bahn mi sandwiches are hella and so delicious as heck too!!! But make sure you get it togo for later though. It’s a pretty spacious restaurant and family friendly as well too. And to top it off that now… it’s right by the highway too! Haha just right after you eat and just hit the highway and your home free.

Ordered combination pho #28. The order was taken quickly and the food was brought to the table quickly as well.
The vegetables – the bean sprouts were fresh, there were lemons instead of limes, the basil was turning colors and slimy (asked for more basil and it was mostly green), the jalapeños had a slimy white coating on them (Did see them replace the entire plastic box with new jalapeños from the fridge once the previous box was done).
The meats – steak was good, tendon did not taste fresh, meatballs were okay, tripe tasted old as well.
The pho – broth was not full of flavor, no complexity or individuality to the restaurant, it was also not as hot as you would expect pho to be.
The noodles – EXTREMELY PROBLEMATIC, tasted like the smell of weevils in rice (if you’ve ever smelled or tasted rice or rice noodles that have been in the vicinity of weevils or have been invaded by weevils, you will understand immediately), were more done (soft) than expected for pho. Also saw a sign that said ‘Extra Noodles Free’ – Have not seen that previously. Typically extra noodles cost about a fourth of the pho itself. Curious if the extra noodles were offered for free because there is an excess of noodles that have been purchased and visited by weevils.
Overall – lack of flavor and freshness, no quality assurance in place, fast service.

What I have always ordered when I go to any Huong Lan are the #12, #65, and #77. This time #67 caught my eyes because of the Shrimp Tofu Wrapper description. I definitely will be adding this to my list to grab next time around, when I’m not automatically defaulting to my favorite #77.
This location is also my favorite to go to because it’s low-key and friendly waitstaff.

Came here on a Thursday, the day after Christmas for the first time and it’s pretty damn good. It was pretty empty since it was was 1 pm when most people are still at work so service was pretty quick ordered 2 bowls of large beef phos and they did not disappoint. Everything here is 100 % authentic I’d definitely recommend and will be coming back again in the future

Huong Lan originates in the San Jose area. They have at least two restaurants here in Fresno. It’s a dependable place for quality Vietnamese pho, banh mi & noodles. The food always tastes fresh and is served in generous portions. Very fast & friendly service. Definitely a good entry point into Vietnamese food if it’s new to you.
This location works well for to either meet for lunch or just to grab a quick, healthy bowl of pho. Just grab a menu and pick a seat. They’ll come around to take your order. And then pay at the cash register when you’re done.

First timer at this restaurant, spotted it while passing by and decided to give it a try after running a few errands. When you step in, it’s a very big and very clean environment. Many tables to choose from if you choose to dine in, and of course take out is also offered. They bring you water while you’re ordering which was very nice. Each table has a variety of spices to pick from and on top of that you also have the option to pick chop sticks!! The wonton combination soup and the chicken soup are delicious. We were super satisfied, will be coming back soon.
