Happy Year of the Rabbit! We decided to eat out for the new year instead of cook and this is by far the best Chinese food we’ve had in Oakville and Mehlville so far! Actually still set up for dine in, friendly service, family atmosphere, and great family style food service. (Will be back to try the roast duck that you need to order ahead.)

Terrible. Beef fried rice tasted like the person who made it was smoking while cooking. Wonton soup was nothing but broth. Beef and broccoli tasted freezer burnt. House lo mein had maybe one piece of meat each. Pineapple chunks in the sweet and sour chicken tasted like the worst and cheapest version of no name brand and were beige in color. Biggest waste of money for our family of four. Total wasted calories. Won’t go back and certainly will not recommend.

The fried rice was not very tasty and was dry. We waited an hour and forty minutes for delivery (but she did tell us it would be over an hour when we placed the order because they were VERY busy) so perhaps the rice sat for a long time?

This was my first time ordering take out from here. Ordered steamed dumplings and shrimp fried rice. I don’t know what it was cooked in/with but I know the smell was horrific and I had to roll down my windows. I was hoping it tasted better than it smelled. The “steamed” dumplings were not steamed at all, just cooked on the grill, and it some sort of sausage in the middle. The shrimp fried rice was bland, but edible. That “weird” smell lingered in the air after bringing the food in the house. I had to take everything out to the trash can. Lesson learned.
