If I could give this zero stars, I would. Although the service was friendly, The food was disgusting. I got the sesame chicken The chicken tasted old. I used to come here for the crab Rangoon years ago. I ordered it today and it was liquidy, and there was only cream cheese inside..not one speck of crab. I ordered the lunch special sesame chicken, which includes an egg roll. I did not receive the egg roll. Out of this entire meal, the best thing was the fried rice and the fried rice also tasted old and dry. I do not recommend human express

It is clearly cooked with skill, the flavors are vibrant, and the quality is outstanding, easily five-star territory on taste alone. If you are looking for a fantastic Chinese meal via takeout or a drive-thru, Hunan Express is perfectly suited and a must-try local option for quality Chinese food.
However, the experience of dining in is where the business falters, and where the three-star rating comes from.
The issue lies squarely with the interior atmosphere. The wife and I both noticed a persistent and unmistakable smell of mothballs permeating the entire dining area. This is not a subtle background note; it’s strong enough to seriously put a damper on the entire meal and prevent you from relaxing and enjoying the food fully. While I appreciate that management may be trying to address an underlying maintenance issue, the chemical odor is overpowering and fundamentally incompatible with an enjoyable dining experience.
Bottom line: Order the food. It’s truly amazing. But treat this strictly as a takeout operation. Sitting down to eat here means sacrificing the pleasure of the five-star food to an unpleasant, two-star environment. Until that interior air quality issue is resolved, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend eating inside.

Best price and quality Americanized Chinese food in 150 square miles. This isn’t a 3.9 rating restaurant as stated here. It’s at least a 4.7, for what it is. It’s not a date restaurant, it’s a make my stomach feel good restaurant.

Showed up at 10:50 someone blurts we don’t open till 11. Driver thru pulls up at 10:47. The quickly take the order. It’s now 11 and still no one has taken my order. She busy discussing her show that she watches 2 Broke Girls and slowly counts her money hopefully the food is better than her service. Well guess I won’t know. Lol. Went up to counter and tried to order but she had a horrible attitude. Good luck to anyone that wants to eat here.

So, I had gone here a few times for lunch via the drive through. I really like some of the food, but the people who work here are absolutely misery incarnate. In particular, there is a guy who works the window at lunch during the week and he is really the worst at customer service. Not only is he incredibly rude, he looks unwashed half the time and he messes up the orders. It’s a shame, because I enjoy going to that place. In the past, I’ve given it 5 stars…but now, I’m going to avoid this place for a while.

Very disappointed! My lo mein looked old some kind of jelly texture on it..rice was very dried beef was discolored..hopefully I don’t get food poisoning because someone will be hearing about this..the only good FRESH thing was the egg drop soup.. Oh yea the egg rolls were cold and soggy..
