I love speakeasies, and Hummingbird to Mars definitely delivered. The atmosphere had that fun, dark, quiet, relaxed air that a good speakeasy should. The menu was impressive with a lot of the classic prohibition standards. I would have liked to see a bit more ingenuity with the drinks, however. Most of them could be made by any well-stocked home bar, so a wider variety of unique liqueurs and syrups might be nice, but the drinks we got were still outstanding!

Love this cozy little place. Great ambiance. When there is a band playing, you feel like you’re going back in time. Try to get a seat at the bar so you can see how the bartender makes your delicious drink!

Really great place that I never knew existed, it has a speakeasy vibe with live music and all. The food was delicious and our waitress, Jessica, was very accommodating! Definitely recommend.

The cocktails aren’t bad, but there are better drinks in Wilmington, and the music is absolutely deafening. It’s not a dance club or concert venue, but I can’t hear people 2′ from me.

if you’re looking for a place in Wilmington Delaware that no one knows about is hidden and tucked away and is very cool and offers an awesome $13 cocktail, this is your place. It ain’t cheap the crowd is upscale casual and very trendy. it’s tucked away and kind of super secret above Catherine Rooney’s with an entrance around the back which doesn’t have any description except for the buzzer on the wall. you push the buzzer they ask you a question you may be allowed to enter and enjoy the ambiance. This was my second time coming for a company Christmas party. Great food and excellent service. I had crab cake, mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables which tasted delicious. The crab cakes were very filling. I will definitely come again.

This place is on the pricy side, but worth it for a special occasion. There aren’t a lot of bars I can get a dark and stormy, but this one delivers. The live music wasn’t intrusive and added to the experience. I did not have a chance to try the food, but have the feeling I will be coming back sometime soon.
