My experience at the newly opened Huddle House of Crossett, AR exceeded my expectations, May 4,2023. The wait staff (we had Alona and Sariyah) were all courteous and hard working. The place was buzzing with customers and employees and I was hit with a mouth-watering aroma of what I can only describe as “a full breakfast” as soon as the door opened. The menu offered so many choices but in the end I chose eggs and bacon, and my friend ordered the huddle bowl and a side of pancakes. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The pancakes really were the star of the meal. Light, fluffy and golden, these circles of joy really made our meal over the top. We will be back!

Been twice since it’s been back open..same experience both times. Waitress was great, on top of her game but the cooks need help! The food was great once we finally got it. But we waited well over an hour. There was only two of us at our table..some tables getting their food before us that came in after us. Not to mention, the dirty attitudes we heard coming from back there..one lady in particular. One guy got up and left. (He’d been waiting almost an hour with no food..had to go back to work. The waitress asked the lady in kitchen about it and her response was “what about it?” In a nasty tone. I know when a place first opens it takes awhile to get the kinks worked out but figured by now it would be a little different. I’ll give it another shot, but will wait a bit to see/give time for things to get better.

If I could give it 0 stars I would definitely do it. I went in for a meal that was priced at $15. Got my food and went home and It was nasty. The bread was burnt and the tator tots were hard. It was basically a burnt grilled cheese with a sprinkle of steak and it was nasty. I took it back and they told me they couldn’t refund my money. My credit card transaction shows they really took #17.81 from my card. I will NEVER go back to the location in Crossett. I will definitely dispute this charge because it’s not right at all.

We had Mill as our waitress and she was amazing she was so nice and caring and made sure everything was correct and if we had an issue she quickly had it fixed. She was on top of checking on us to make sure we had refills and enjoyed our meal. Other that the understandable wait because they are super busy we had a great experience and we will be back! Thanks Mill for being so understanding and patient!

If I could give zero stars, I would. The place was totally disorganized and no one had a clue what they were doing. There were very few customers there when we went in, so that wasn’t the problem. Our order was entered in at 7:12, according to the bill which was brought to the table 5 minutes after we ordered. At 8:00, we still had not gotten our food, so we left. We also were told they had been open about four weeks, and people who had been working only two weeks were “training” new workers. No training going on there. Ridiculous.

Although there’s been several satisfying visits, last night was a fiasco at Huddle House in Crossett. Customers became disgruntled, and for good reason. I waited 2 hours for a BLT and fries. Another table waited 2 hours for a waffle. Yet another waited over 3 hours for his meal to be completed. HH was not particularly busy at this time. Customers unknowingly blamed the servers, one in particular, for the shoddy service. The problem originated from the cooks being totally off their game. Sloppy work ethics and poor presentation of the food. I was fortunate to have a good waitress, but bless her heart. She was kept busy tending another waitress’ tables. Throw into this equation a server who’s rude and undoubtedly loves to stir trouble, and the experience became a disappointing meal. On a sidenote, once the manager was made aware of the situation, she returned to HH to work on the problem.
