Small town huddle house where everyone basically knows each other. The food was okay, but I was really distracted by everything that was going on behind the counter. I saw a child walking through the kitchen. She helped herself to a beverage in the fridge. There was also a gentleman preparing food with open toe sandals on. Those major distractions really made me uncomfortable, and I hope they can be fixed in the future. On the bright side, the waitress did an excellent job. But at this time, I do not recommend this restaurant.

This place is a disgrace to our community. I can just imagine what visitors driving through think of Roanoke AL after the experience they receive by. Dining here. Long waits. Attitudes kids with dirty hands severing your drinks when I say kids 9-10 year olds. It’s been that way for at least 2 years I know. Why our mayor or council lets this business stay is just not understandable. Most days while waiting the waitress are standing out back smoking letting their kids answer the phone. Quote – Huddle house what ya want. This place needs to condemn. We as citizens need to take a stand against this kind business to keep going in our communities.

We came in every table that wasnt full was dirty. Had to wait. Then waitress asked what we wanted to drink we ordered dr pepper and she says they are out of co2. Something she should have mentioned FIRST. Then she told us the wait was gonna be longer than usual so we just left. She had a bad attitude as well.

Waited over an hour and only got our drinks. Manager didn’t seem he knew what he was doing and tons of improper food handling. Health department will be notified. Containers sitting on the counter for the hour instead of being refrigerated and food items just being laid on the counter with no plate, etc.biscuits sitting on top of the shelf half covered.

Atmosphere is a little hectic under the new management. They were out of several items. The service was average (considering the chaos). The atmosphere leaves much to be desired but this is, again, a restaurant newly re-opening with all mostly new staff and management. I believe they will be running smoothly in no time!

The food that I had was not good it was not the cooks fault just the recipe of the restaurant but the customer service was excellent so great I wish they would have better recipes for what I ate it might be something else different and that might be good the streusel waffles did look amazing I just didn’t have any

This Huddle House in Roanoke, Alabama is very good. Great food and good friendly service. We felt lucky to have the same server Billie Rhodes the 2 times we have visited. Bob and I love the huge portions they serve. This Roanoke location is by far the best Huddle House we have visited. It’s worth the drive from anywhere and we live in Auburn.
