Customer Feedback for Mrs. Kayla – Huddle House
From the moment I walked in, the restaurant was packed, but Mrs. Kayla didn’t miss a thing. As soon as the doorbell sounded, she looked up with that quick, instinctive awareness she has and acknowledged me immediately. By the time I reached my table, she was already there with my coffee, a big friendly smile, and the familiar “the usual?” followed by describing my favorite breakfast perfectly.
I noticed the kitchen staff stepped out—maybe a shift change—but without a second of hesitation, Mrs. Kayla jumped right into the kitchen and started cooking my order herself. Every customer was still being taken care of, and the entire place kept running smoothly because of her. She moved with confidence, efficiency, and pride, like someone who truly owns her role.
My breakfast came out perfectly cooked, well‑portioned, and right on time. Not a single beat was missed.
Mrs. Kayla is an exceptional employee—fast, attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. She makes the entire experience feel personal and effortless.

Haven’t saw a Huddle House in years so when I did I had to stop in. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Ray, the cook. His customer service was phenomenal and the way he ran that kitchen did not go unnoticed. Thank you, I truly enjoyed my visit. I was also super happy to see turkey sausage on the menu and was able to enjoy breakfast for dinner, nostalgic! Even made a togo order for the road. I would definitely come back if I’m around this area again!

As a content creator on Twitch, I always recommend for my viewers to visit the Huddle House in Claxton and highly recommend to have Maranda as their server.

Y’all, I can not say enough good things about the Huddle House in Claxton, GA. We were passing through and needed a place to park a camper. The parking lot is well lit and easily accessible for campers, 18-wheelers, etc. Speaking of trucker, stop on in. The coffee was fresh and hot. Our server, Nikki, was attentive and thorough. The coffee poured freely and the cup was never empty. Mary and Junior prepared a delicious breakfast for us. We left full and happy. The bathrooms were immaculate and all the table things were clean, you know not that yucky stickiness like other places on the salt, pepper, etc.

We were passing through with a camper. The property was clean, well lit, with plenty of truck parking. The restrooms were spotless. The food was delicious and coffee was fresh. Our server, Nikki and cooks Mary and Junior provided excellent customer service with well prepared food.

Kayla makes our office Friday morning breakfast meetings better. She has been our waitress for years and years. She knows exactly what each employee wants for breakfast. She’s the best. She takes great care of us and keeps checking on us. Penny

I’ve never been in such a chaotic huddle house. Tables were not getting cleaned. Beth the GM was throwing food on the Expo and not letting the 2 waitresses know that orders were ready, and then yell at them because they haven’t picked up the food. I watched my husband’s and my order sit under the heat lamp for 15 mins before for it came to us. Everyone was in a bad mood and the whole environment felt tense. The same tables that were dirty when we came in were still dirty when we left. And I have never seen my waitress Kayla so frazzled and ready to leave. Jason was definitely a better GM.

I’m writing to share my experience during my recent visit. Unfortunately, the service I received was disappointing. Our server Latesha was inattentive, slow to check on us, and didn’t seem interested in making sure we were taken care of. We waited a long time for basic things, and overall the experience felt rushed and unprofessional. I understand everyone can have off days, but as a paying customer, I expected better communication and service. I hope management can address this so future guests have a better experience.

The server Admire, on the night shift was awesome. Very friendly and couldn’t ask for better service with a smile… from the time I walked in she greeted everyone with a smile. The food was A1 and served hot off the grill… couldn’t ask for anything more.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt it was necessary after my recent visit. The service we received was not up to standard. Our server, Latesha, was inattentive and lacked professionalism. We waited long periods without being checked on, had to ask multiple times for simple things, and the overall attitude felt dismissive. Dining out should be an enjoyable experience, but this visit was frustrating due to the lack of care and urgency. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides additional training or coaching so situations like this don’t happen again.
