A truly memorable dining experience at Evangelo’s! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and elegant—perfect for a relaxing evening out. The ambience set the tone beautifully with its warm lighting and tasteful décor, giving the space a refined yet comfortable feel.
I ordered the New York strip sandwich, and it exceeded my expectations. It was bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and served on a toasted bun that complemented the steak wonderfully. The portion was generous and satisfying. Our entire party of five enjoyed their meals, and everyone left full and impressed.
Service was another highlight of our visit. Our waitress was exceptional—attentive, kind, and always making sure our drinks were refilled and that we were enjoying everything. Her attentiveness really enhanced our experience and made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal.
The menu is Italian-inspired and offers a great variety of dishes to choose from. Considering the quality of the food and the level of service, I found the prices to be very reasonable.
I highly recommend Evangelo’s to anyone looking for a great restaurant in the area. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a perfect spot for a delicious and memorable meal.

Very nice atmosphere. Great for a date night or family dinner. My husband and I shared the stuffed mushrooms which were amazing. I got the seafood arabiata and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in awhile when dining out. My husband got the seafood diablo which he enjoyed but tried mine and said my dish was better. Definitely looking forward to dining here again.

We were seated at a wonderful corner table, which immediately set a comfortable and inviting tone. Our waiter was exceptional – attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. He suggested the steak special and the tempura battered Brussels Sprouts, and despite not being particularly hungry, I decided to trust his recommendations. I am so incredibly glad I did! The meal was absolutely amazing, a true culinary treat.
Beyond the delicious food, the atmosphere was just right for a relaxed evening. We enjoyed a wonderful, two-hour-long conversation and never once felt rushed. It truly was a perfect dining experience from start to finish.
I highly, highly recommend Evangelo’s. It’s clear why it’s considered a neighborhood gem – fantastic food, excellent service, and an ambiance that makes you want to linger. Don’t miss it!

Service was great. Husband liked his rib eye. My chicken fettuccine had no flavor, it wasn’t worth the $29 they charge. I’ll stick with making it at home or getting it at Denali Family Restaurant. Our kid had pizza and wasn’t impressed either. If we visit again later, we’ll definitely try something else on the menu.

The place is pretty nice, the fettuccine was really runny, like soup, and almost no flavor. I had to add a lot of salt and pepper. However I know I’m probably addicted to salt so those that don’t use salt like a faucet will probably love it.
The cheese bread is good.

The food has definitely improved over the years, but the atmosphere is still pretty outdated. Gives very…early 90’s wine mom vibes. The service can be hit or miss. But, I still keep coming back since they have good steak and pastas. 🙂

Any restaurant that carries even one item that is one of my favorite on the planet should get a five-star review! Because you don’t need to like everything on a menu You just need to have something that is really special anywhere you like to go. And for me, of all things, it is their beef teriyaki! That is in no way a joke, although I thought it was the first time I heard they served it. I got it out of curiosity cuz it was a little out of place with all their other Italian and Greek cuisine, but I guarantee you if you like teriyaki related anything you will absolutely love that! My dad really likes their pizzas, and they have numerous excellent dishes like their eggplant parmesan, but for me it will always be that beef teriyaki!

Pictured is the chicken alfredo, it was so delicious, the chicken parmesan, also very delicious, house salad, super fresh, shrimp cocktail, and the shrimp were huge! Also shared hot wings as an appetizer, and they were amazing. The service was super slow. That is the reason for the 4 stars. Other than that, it was very delicious and had a very nice vibe.

Had another FANTASTIC meal here for our anniversary. Prime rib and seafood augratin. Absolutely wonderful! Not sure what the reviewers from the last 2 weeks are talking about with doubled prices and alacart pricing. It’s completely false!***
Edit: We’ve been here a handful of times over the last year and we’re back again for my birthday. Hubs made sure to ask @ the prime rib being med. rare so he’s a happy camper. Tonight I order the seafood augratin and OH MY GOODNESS! It was absolutely amazing! Some crustini and or a spoon would’ve nice though.
We’ve also ordered pizza here several times and will say, the extra price is well worth it! It’s the best pizza in the valley so far!

We went here for my birthday dinner. Wait time was about 20mins so we sat at the bar and enjoyed a drink. Service all around was good. Disappointment came when our prime rib dinners were delivered over cooked. We ordered medium rare and from the pix you can see they were medium. The waitress did go back and apparently they had run out of Med-rare and failed to notify the servers. Ok
I was looking forward to some nice in season veggies but they were super soggy…I’d swear they were frozen…very bland. Lastly, we were 1/2 way through our meals when we realized that they gave my husband both of our horseradish cups….I figured they just served without. Little complaints really but they add up
