Had the best interaction with the owner. Very sweet home town type place, treat you like family. We hung out and played they’re little hook game, and ate delicious ice cream & huckleberry cheese cake. They have everything you might need while out and about camping, from bait, to beer. A must stop.

Bear and his wife are great people. We had a scout troop up there. He provided us service for the scouts to do. He provided drinks, camo clothes for all the boys he’d had for years. We had a boy get hurt, he helped with ice and allowed us to hang out. Then he provided some kayaks for the boys to play in free of charge. Great people with a great heart for helping others! We will be going back for sure!

We have passed by several times on the way to McCall. Finally had time to stop in to see the huckleberry baked goods but none to be found. Two stars for the awesome huckleberry ice cream. We went out front to sit and eat the ice cream and was told by the lady there that she would kill us if we got any on the chairs, was then told by the man there to get out of his chair. He then gave us a bad time for being from out of state. We will certainly pass it by next time.

We absolutely loved this place! After a long bike ride with the fam bam we found this bakery/ cafe right off the main drag. The food was delicious, the sweets were perfect and the hospitality by “Bear” and his staff made my family feel at home. If you’re in the area make it a point to stop in, this place is an absolute gem!

Awesome place. Bear was great. He enjoys life and razzing people and has a heart of gold. We need more people like him. Welcomes everyone. Food and service were super because the people are super. A must stop when going by, you will not be disappointed. By the way, the dogs were friendly and cute.
