Stopped in today for a quick bite and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality! The ginger cookie was divine – exactly what I was looking for and I considered buying a second on my way out. I’m def coming back just for these cookies and can’t wait to try the other cookie flavors and pastries they have! My bf loved the turkey sandwich – specifically the bread and sauce. The employees were welcoming and friendly. We can’t wait to come back!

Well my wify found this small place for a while, this is inside Gastropark a place that you have visit.
I cannot add many description because theyre small but amazing, key work will be “small state big love of their bread”, all that we got are totally amazing.
Just an idea how good is, we drove all the way Enfield to get some bread.
I do recommend this place 100%, saw the small sandwiches, looks amazing, will come back to try them (last time I was just ate my lunch before arriving here)

After traveling to Europe, Ive realized how important freshly baked bread is. So when I got home, I decided to find a bakery that was dedicated to using fresh ingredients. Luckily, Small state Provisions is only a few miles away. For starters, they use organic flour which is awesome! Their baked goods are constantly in rotation, which shows the versatility in the bakers.
I grabbed a loaf of sourdough, a pecan cheddar scone, and a berry muffin. When I got home, I used the sourdough for my garlic bread recipe. OMG…. THE BREAD was INCREDIBLE!!!!! It was super fresh and toasted perfectly. I don’t want to forget about that scone either. The cheddar and pecans perfectly complimented each other. When you add their jalapeño jelly, the flavors just go to another level. If you looked freshly baked items, stop by gastropark and check them out.

This is a tiny bakery that makes delicious baked goods. There is only enough room for two people to be in the ordering area – so please be considerate and wait outside the door while someone orders. Their sourdough is fantastic! They offer vegan chocolate chip cookies and ginger molasses cookies – I am not sure if this rotates, but both of them are delicious. They make a scrumptious granola bake – it’s granola baked on top of mixed fruits topped with creme fraiche and maple syrup. I highly recommend trying EVERYTHING if you can. But if you are not sure what you want, staff is eager to help and they know a lot about their menu!

Lovely little bakery! Best known for the bread. Lots of pastry options with unique flavours and multiple dairy-free/gluten-free selections. Kevin is very friendly too. A worthy stop in the Hartford area – if for nothing but the sea salt brownies!

I made an order of a couple dozen pastries to bring to my office. then there were many scheduling conflicts on my end, but Kevin and his staff was very flexible and accommodating. The pastries were amazing. I made sure I got the pain au chocolat, which was the perfect combination of crunchy, light and filled with the perfect amount of chocolate. I was also able to sample a slice of the banana bread which was deliciously moist and sweet. Also the blueberry scone was hearty and delicious. There was a variety and the people in my office loved them. I highly recommend this bakery. They also have a convenient location (for me) at the Gastro Park in West Hartford.

I was gifted today one of Kevin’s focaccia in Albany, NY. I smelled it, bite it and I wanted to hold onto the delicious, heavenly flavors in mouth forever but I had to swallow it. I checked out his Instagram page and it made all sense; his love that he puts in his bread was talking to me.
I have the outmost respect for artisinal craftsmen in general for what they produce for public out of their gifts and passion. I am grateful that I got to try Kevin and Michael’s focaccia! I can’t wait to get my hands on more of his baked goods!!
My 1st visit to his bakery on 5/22
If you are reading this review and live closer to him than me living in Albany, NY hurry and get your self some of that focaccia and whatever else he is baking. I drove to Kevin’s store from Albany and I made sure that they are all amazing! We bought two of everything he has baked. I give him 10 out of 10!
