This was our first visit here. Our waiter was awesome. The food was served quickly, it was hot and delicious! This restaurant is beautiful with an amazing atmosphere. One person had Chopped Steak with a loaded baked potato and a side salad. She really enjoyed her meal. Another person had a Phily Cheese with fries. He loved the sandwich. I had the Old Country Chicken with baked sweet potato and fried okra. It was delicious. The okra was served in a cermic bowl type container, which kept it very warm! It is located on the old square of Oxford, AL. We recommend this restaurant.

Decent hamburger. Tasty chicken appetizer. $4 for the tiny salad is a ripoff. Burger beef was dry and bland. Mayonnaise ingredients are toxic garbage: corn syrup, soybean oil, etc.; come on people. Too much chlorine in the water.

Wonderful little restaurant in the heart of town. Fabulous breakfast all fresh and local. The waitress told us about the history of the town and that the building the restaurant is in use to be a piano store. Definitely a must if you are in the area.

Pretty good service, bartenders got confused about who was serving me though.
Fish was good and cocktail also was good

Knocked it out of the park again. Best breakfast in town. Great experience every time. Can’t recommend enough.

The restaurant was well cleaned and kept up, had a very welcoming atmosphere, while playing very southern music (which I found out to be a live pianist playing) to compliment the southern hospitality meals they had to offer as well. Since I hadn’t tried this place before, I was extremely excited to try this hole in a wall (that stands out from the surrounding stores and restaurants around it), I didn’t know what to expect. I know a lot of people said they were amazing with their services and food but I had to try it out myself. Starting off, our server was very sweet and nice. She helped me with a few suggestions to eat since my friend and I were unfamiliar to the place and we were settled with their famous fried catfish with fries and a chopped steak with mac n’ cheese and collard greens. The food came out in a decent time but not too quickly to where it made us question the freshness of the food but the food itself was absolutely delicious. I personally got the chopped steak while my friend on the other hand got the fried catfish. She said her food was very good as well and hers actually tasted like it was freshly cooked. The service was also very top tier and I would like to say that they’re doing really great in their store with keeping customers happy! If you love southern goodness and welcoming atmospheres, this is definitely your call to come!

Hey Garrett,
Thanks a million for the amazing dinner! You’re a culinary rockstar, and I’m so lucky to have been treated to your gastronomic skills. The food was scrumptious, the laughter was contagious, and the company was top-notch.
Thanks again, everyone, for a fantastic dinner and a night to remember!
Cheers,

The service was HORRIBLE or waitress Julie W. Fast walking by us got about 3 glasses of tea and NO FOOD had to ask for more bread also was told they was out of Salmon and Shrimp & Grits. A couple that came after us and was given some, also when our food came they brought Salmon but it wasn’t ordered. Will not visit again which I’m sure you don’t care.

I’ve tried this restaurant three times, hoping it would get better. No such luck. Every single time I’ve been, they have been out of several items on the menu. The service has been consistently very slow. The portion sizes are skimpy. Wait staff is not very friendly.
Last night was awful! We had reservations but the restaurant was not crowded at all. They were out of three entrees. We had a long wait for our food so I asked the waitress for more bread. Her response was “Well, your food is about to come out.” I thought SO WHAT?! If we want more bread, then please bring it to us. My Low Country Chicken dish was so disappointing. The chicken breast was paper thin and about the size of a deck of cards. Literally, five bites! $18 for five bites!
We will not go back.

went for breakfast, the food eas good but could have been more descriptive or even pictures would have helped a lot. Maybe if the waitress would let us know some items weren’t served traditionally but with a twist.
