I add jalapeños en escabeche to make the pulled pork plate into corn tortilla tacos and to the pulled pork sandwich lunch special. This makes a perfect cross-cultural foodie fusion! ¡Buen provecho!

If you are looking for the real deal Hawaiian in the hill country this is the place to go. Its a little hard to find back in the trees, but once you find it it’ll make you feel like your back on Oahu. The short ribs and Kalua pork were both excellent and the mac salad is right on the money. Looking forward to going to back to try other things. Ono grinds!

We’ve been here a few times and really love this place. I haven’t tried everything on the menu but the short rib plate (with rice and Mac salad) is my favorite so far. We order in advance, pick up the food and eat at the picnic tables outside. If you’ve never tried Hawaiian food in general (I hadn’t before coming here), you owe it to yourself to do so!

First time trying out the new food truck in Dripping Springs and I’m so glad they’re here! I was quite hungry so I ordered the pork belly poke bowl (yum) the Mac salad (yum) and also the hurricane tots (also yum) This place packs the flavor in an easy setting (off 290 behind the cultural hub) the portions were big and beautiful (I have leftovers) and the folks were super cool and helpful. I’m looking forward to going back for more.

It’s a little hard to find, but totally worth it when you do. I was blown away with how tasty the food was. We tried the beef ribs and the chicken. Both were so flavorful, tender and delicious. If you’re familiar with L&L Hawaiian or Q&Q Hawaiian BBQ, then just imagine that but with better ingredients and more tender meat. That’s what this place is. My only (small) critique is that it’d be nice to have the meat on a bed of steamed cabbage.

This honestly is one of the best meals I’ve had in Austin to date. The short ribs and mochiko chicken were incredible. And definitely don’t skip the macaroni salad – it’s spectacular!

I am so happy to have a Hawaiian food option in Hill Country! We’ve gone a few times now and everything on the menu is delicious and consistent. The dude who runs it is always so nice, too. No pics because I keep getting too excited to wait, haha.

Maui Burger is super yummy! Pulled pork was tasty too. Looking forward to trying more selections! And they’re definitely generous on the portions. A great change of pace and nice add to the neighborhood.
