We are located on the border of Kinnelon and Butler, in Kinnelon, NJ and boast fresh food with vibrant flavors. Our extensive menu offers something for everyone, accommodating vegetarian, vegan and gluten free customers. First time here, ordered steamed Thai dumplings online for takeout. 15 minute wait, $10.61 for 4 of them. Tasted like week old, 3-meat meatballs/stuffed mushrooms. The quality tasting soy sauce helped it through. Printed menu doesn’t reflect online prices.

I usually always order the ginger soup from house of Thai whenever I’m sick or I’m feeling sore throat coming on. Today was that day and I ordered crab ragoons tropical shrimp with jasmine rice and the ginger soup large size. I first want to say first the delivery was very quick. I was not expecting it to be that quick after they told me an hour, but the first thing I noticed was the jasmine rice that comes with the tropical shrimp. It was in a small separate container that wasn’t even half full of rice, for $18 I should definitely be getting more rice with the shrimp, or at least fill the small container also only had three pieces of shrimp with my tropical I’m shrimp entrée and again the container holding the tropical shrimp Entrée was not full .despite the entree being good I was disappointed about containers being only half full. And for the LARGE GINGER SOUP I had the same problem with the container holding the GINGER soup, it wasn’t full. They basically put the small soup in a large container. There also wasn’t any ginger or mushrooms in the soup despite being short on the broth. This caused the taste to be different and unfortunately the soup just tasted like salty onion water with no ginger flavor. They usually do an amazing job with the soup but I guess it was a bad day for the kitchen. My neighbor also ordered just before me and he said he had the same problem. With the soup and containers it being filled or shorted. Were the best thing out of my order that I was able to eat without a problem . I know it was probably just an off day but I ended up spending $50 for myself and I feel the value in quality wasn’t there today.

I give this place 5 stars for a few reasons. One reason being that the food was absolutely great. I had the pineapple fried rice and Thai ribs. I thought both were great and I was able to take some home and reheat it, and it still came out delicious. I dined in alone for lunch and the host was extremely knowledgeable. He informed me what was expensive and what I could order to save a buck while still receiving the same amount of food. I thought that was great. The furniture and interior decoration was awesome making it the perfect place for a family night or a lunch or dinner date. I’d recommend for everyone.

The food here is 5 stars hands down. I’ve been ordering from them take out and delivery for going on two years now. I give this review only 3 stars because every time I order I am receiving less food (consistently). As you can see from the pics. Went from full container to to the line to considerably under the fill line. Would still recommend for for taste and quality!

I stumbled upon this restaurant by shear luck during the pandemic and ordered takeout. I was dumbfounded to by how good the food was. Yesterday we came back after now numerous times and i have to leave them a positive review. Simply 10/10 crab rangoon’s and pad thai are my favorite. Warning ⚠️ if you order your food hot it will be extremely spicy . It was really spicy just the way I like it so be careful.
