It is our first time at the House of Lee. I ordered the Hunan Chicken that came with white rice – you can order the combination with fried rice if you’d like though. My mom ordered Almond Chicken. Both meals looked fresh and delicious when brought to our table. They were both amazing! The chicken was tender and my vegetables were plentiful and fresh. I will definitely come back here! I think this is the best looking, and tasting, Chinese food I’ve seen in a long time in Farmington/Farmington Hills.

My second time coming here might be my last if I’m really desperate for a egg roll not the best but affordable lunch special that will keep you full. Don’t waste your time on the rice the mix there rice with brown and white and have the audacity to charge people an extra dollar 75 if you ask for shrimp fried rice and that includes no vegetables and no egg just dry rice.

Tons of sweet and sour sauce underneath the chicken. Very delicious fresh chicken with fresh fried rice. The best Egg Rolls in the area.
House of Lee is my go to for take away Chinese.

I got the chicken chop suey, egg drop soup and egg roll and my wife got the pork lo mein. All of the food tasted A+ and the service was very good. We will be back!

Lower to mid. Sweet and sour chicken isn’t bad but the fried rice. Pork Lo mein. All sub par. General tso was…ok enough. Asked for very spicy as well and got 0 spice. And the tea tasted burnt and odd.

This is THE BEST Chinese restaurant I have EVER been to. I’m here right now and decided to go glance at the google reviews out of our curiosity and was SHOCKED to see some of the harsh and negative ones. I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl, and my dad even before that, and we have never had a bad experience here. Eating in or carry out. The service is fast and the food is plentiful, hot, and delicious. It is family run, you’ll often see one of their kids doing homework at one of the tables inside. They care about their customers and are always happy to accommodate requests, so I really don’t understand some of these reviews. My only guess is they got something they normally don’t get and we’re absolutely shocked when it wasn’t what they were expecting? I have no idea because the food here is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend the Almond Boneless Chicken, its all my family ever gets when we come here. Please do support this local, family-owned small business, you seriously won’t regret it!!

We miss New Mandarin Garden so much! Since they are still closed for repairs, I thought I would try House of Lee. Very disappointed! Mongolian Beef is what I always get at NMG. Here the beef was tough, no flavor, and not enough of it. The meal was mostly onions. I even added carrots and pee pods. I’m not even sure I want to eat the left overs! We won’t be back.
Btw, not one person was eating inside at 6:30 on Sunday. Another red flag! Not very inviting interior with no windows. Wait staff unfriendly. New Mandarin cannot open soon enough for us!

My food was delicious and fresh. I just did not like that I was paying for a full meal for almond chicken and I wanted a side of shrimp and it was going to run me $11. They were going to give me 6 pieces but the point is I just wanted three or four shrimp a la carte. Also the wonton soup was not flavored good to me. It tasted like water in eggs. The brown gravy is to die for. Sometimes I have to go in the urban neighborhood just to get the Savory flavor brown gravy, but there’s hits the mark. The only problem is they put it in that cheap little cup and it can easily spill or fold and break while traveling into the house. My definitely had a dent. The sweet roll is delicious and free.

We love House of Lee. We get carry out from there fairly often. I think its one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.
