First off would like to say I really don’t like that they make you order through a kiosk. Covid is over and they have their bench seating blocked off where they still don’t allow you to sit inside at 90 degree weather. The music was really loud and annoying almost couldn’t hear myself think. You have to be careful bc if you click pay now at the kiosk it will automatically charge you a 22% fee which is outrageous considering you can’t even eat inside. It’s a $20 chicken sandwich and they still demand a tip on top of it, so they sell over priced chicken sandwiches and they still want you to pay for their workers service when they’re not even helping you take an order. On top of it all I ordered MILD for my daughter and the order came out more like spicy. She said it was so hot she took one bit and couldn’t finish it.

Saw this on social media and I wanted to try it. We ordered the 2 piece tender combo – medium and the tender+sandwich combo – mild. I also got a side of Mac and Cheese. I really liked the bread crumbs on the Mac and Cheese. The chicken was solid by the seasoning and crunchiness but the fries weren’t great.

Was excited to finally try Hotties after hearing so many good things. Its located in the middle of the mall so you can park on either side of the courtyard which is convenient. There was a line out the door but it moved quickly. Once inside theres not much seating but lots of outdoor seating. It’s worth the wait! Staff is very friendly and service was excellent. The food was really good. I sampled pretty much everything and was really happy with it all. The fried chicken is about a 6 or 7 when it comes to spicy which is perfect! Outside is crunchy and spicy and the meat is very flavorful. I love that it comes with the bread to sop up the sauces and juices! A lot of people dont get the purpose of the bread. Chicken sandwich was yummy. Not spicy at all and really enjoyable. The fries are great with the seasoning on them and their sauce is good too! Definitely a 5 star for quality and just the fun of eating some yummy spicy chicken.

Do not understand the naysayers or people only giving a 4 star review when they said it was great. This place has the best Nashville Hot Chicken I’ve had. Leg and thigh combos were always juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. You’ve got to try the Mac and Cheese too! Give this place some love Chino Hills.

Hot chicken spot in the Chino Hills Shoppes. Came here on a Saturday around noon for lunch, and there was a small line but it moved quickly. They’re currently open during covid for takeout. There are some tables and benches scattered around the area for outdoor dining as well. Credit cards are accepted, and parking is free via the outdoor lot. The employee estimated about 15 minutes for the food to be ready, but it took about 5 minutes so we got to partake in our meal faster (yay!).

Chicken was cooked perfect and had a really good sauce that was similar to raising Cane’s. Got there around 6pm on a Tuesday night and there was no line until around 7pm. I would recommend this place if your in the Chino hills area. Closest spot to park would be by the Barns and Noble.

Let me start off by saying that I’m fiend for chicken sandwiches. Hotties is located at the shoppes in Chino Hills on Grand. It’s next to Barnes and Nobles across from RA sushi. I came on a Tuesday at around 1:30 and there was only one person ahead of me. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to get my order. They had a steady stream of customers the whole time I was there. Hotties says that they are a Nashville Hot Chicken joint. In my opinion they are and they aren’t to an extent. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good and it’s way better that the Chick Fil A across the street. It may cost a bit more but it’s worth it. I can only base my review on what I tried which were the sliders, fries, coleslaw and the heat levels that they were served at. They don’t serve regular chicken sandwiches but they do have sliders which are pretty filling. The sliders aren’t sold individually and they’re offered only in combos. A 2 slider combo came out to 10 bucks and some change, no drink included. I tried the mild and medium heat levels and I didn’t feel much heat or spice at all, so that’s why I want to come back and try the fire heat level. I compare all hot chicken places to Howlin’ Ray’s because I feel that they are the standard to what Nashville style hot chicken should be. I’m guessing that Hottie’s fire heat level to be on par with Ray’s mild or medium. Now what I always say about Nashville style Hot Chicken such as Ray’s is that I don’t understand why anyone would order or enjoy getting a heat level at hot or above because at that point you’re not able to taste the chicken. All you get is heat, pain, a stomach ache and a painful feeling when it leaves you. The Hotties chicken was good but again, I’m used to more heat or at least some heat and spice at the levels I tried. I like the bun the slider was served on, you need a moist type of bun on chicken sandwiches like those. I know it’s not easy to get that just right in between. If it were slightly more mushy it would have not been good but it stayed within the realms of a good bun to hold your chicken. The fries were good, especially with the come back sauce. In my opinion the coleslaw lack flavor, it needed something to take it to that next level. Pro tip: ask for an extra comeback sauce and mix it into your coleslaw to flavorize it. Your welcome. To my surprise, I feel that Hottie’s comeback sauce is better than Howlin’ Ray’s! One thing that I would recommend is that I wish they would label each order to what spice level it is. We got two orders and got home and was clueless as to which spice level went along to which order. So in conclusion, I feel this place definitely blows away Chick Fil A but it’s not quite on par with the great Nashville style Hot Chicken joints as far as the spicy heat profiles that I love so much. In my opinion, if Hotties tweaked their menu a little, then they could be up there with the greats. Compared to Ray’s, Hotties is more reasonably priced and there is better parking. So if you don’t feel like driving to chinatown and waiting for an hour or more in line for Ray’s then this place should satisfy your hot chicken cravings…

This was my first time at Hotties, and there was a lot going on. The air conditioning wasn’t working (it was about 95° outside that day), and the floors were very sticky. You could hear my shoes sticking to the floor as I walked. The equipment in the back was all over the place, it looked like they were moving or something.
