Dined here last Friday (2/20) with my significant other. I’ve tried the other 757 Hot Pot locations (all of which are great btw) but this was the first one we tried together. The interior is clean and organized, front of house staff were welcoming. This is pretty much like the other locations as far as offerings go, but the main difference is that this location has an appetizer bar – the others don’t. The appetizer bar had fried rice, 2 different egg rolls, onion rings, lo mein, etc. The hot pot and KBBQ were fantastic, it was all delicious. Our server, Darlyn, was very attentive the entire time and so was the rest of the staff. 10/10 would recommend.

Another new addition to the AYCE hot pot scene in Colonial Heights, VA.
The restaurant is clean and nice. The menu offers a lot of options, from seafood to different meats and vegetables, high-quality cuts, and every topping I usually order in hot pot. They also have a great sauce bar and hot foods (fries, wings, fried rice, etc.). The servers were super quick to bring out the food.
Great spot for a hangout. Food and service were excellent.

So we came at lunch, place is completely empty except one other table of two. After placing our order, we got apps and made our sauces. Cool. Come back and our hotpot stuff is on the table…. but no soup. And no grill ingredients. We wait *20 minutes* until the waitress returns and puts the soup order in again. 5 mins later it arrives, still no grill bbq items. She comes back maybe 10 minutes later and realizes we still have no grill items, puts the order in again, and then 2 mins later we get… a double order of everything. Kitchen laughing and cackling and having a grand old time back there the whole time, but not actually sending the food out or paying attention apparently.
So after 35 mins of twiddling our thumbs we are finally eating, let’s talk about food quality. Beef is almost completely inedible, every bite is just chewy fat and all the pieces of all the meats are huge, very unlike any other Korean BBQ I’ve been to. Basically taken out of the package with no thought and thrown on the plate. Apps were okay, sauce selection was nice, but the desserts were definitely from yesterday if not the day before. I shouldn’t be able to smash my finger into the top of cake icing and have it bend and not transfer to my finger.
Hot tea tasted like lavender soap, and upon inspection it was covered in a GLISTENING LAYER of soap scum.
For having just opened, they are not making good first impressions.
And the service was the worst I’ve ever had in a hotpot place. Had to beg for a new grill top, never asked if we wanted more items (wouldn’t have gotten them anyway apparently), plates weren’t cleared until they brought us the grill meats and then never again (so only once whole meal).
Do not recommend. Find literally any other hotpot place.

Waiting time to be seated was less than 10 minutes. The service absolutely can improve, they never deliver some items we ordered, never got empty trays picked up. Food is good specially their Chinese herbal broth for hot pot, is always tasty. This location has also a hot bar with spring rolls, fried rice, chicken wings, chicken nuggets, egg rolls, lo mein noodles.

My family and I were here for dinner tonight and it was the best experience. The staff is so friendly and the food was delicious. The all you can eat is well worth the price. You definitely get your moneys worth. We well definitely be back!

The staff were nice, food was good as well. The Hotpot for the soup being right in my face was a bit awkward for me though. I know it was for the experience but I felt it could have been a few more inches towards the center of the table. I felt the heat of the soup in my face even when it was off. Plus I was holding my plate in hand eating which was most comfortable given that i couldnt place it right in front of me. The kids enjoyed the cooking aspect of it.

I really enjoyed myself here! Food was all fresh ingredients, the service was awesome, they were constantly asking to restock our ingredients. The sauce bar was easy to understand and everything was delicious!
