Stop and eat here, great little sandwich shop!! The paninis are top notch loaded with ingredients and the grilled cheeses are the best you will find. They use the press to make a mouthwatering sandwich thats grilled to perfection and you won’t find it anywhere else. Plus they have wraps and salads so everyone can find something to eat. We stopped on our way through town after browsing Google maps, it’s an easy couple minutes off the interstate. I’m ready for another sandwich (or two), skip the chains and swing by this local gem. Other sandwich places don’t measure up now!

I can’t really rate atmosphere as I haven’t sat in to eat, but the food is always delicious. The workers are always so friendly too. I feel a bit guilty for being so quiet! I don’t hate y’all I promise. Today I tried one of their baked goods and it was delicious. A pretzel caramel brownie if I remember correctly. So soft and perfectly sweet. Their sandwiches are just as good. Super hot even when picked up, they live up to their name. A weekly special sandwich is so fun. I remember my first time trying this place I got a kimchi grilled cheese. It’s still my favorite- I hope I can buy it again someday.

Don’t hesitate just go. Outstanding staff and service. The food was amazing. I’m pretty critical and this place checked all the boxes. Everything had great flavor and the portions were large. It will be a destination when we’re back in town!

Absolutely delicious! Stopped here today with the family and we all loved our meals. You know it’s delicious when even your 5 year old eats everything on his plate! So many sandwiches on the menu sounded good that my husband and I each ordered a different one then swapped halves. We tried the special which was the Philly cheesesteak and The Daily News(pastrami). They were both very good but The Daily News was phenomenal, I’m already factoring in when I can get it again! The portion sizes are very generous, next time we will probably get a sandwich and bowl of soup to share. Speaking of soup… the Tomato Basil soup was hot and delicious, the perfect grilled cheese side. The establishment was clean and the workers were super friendly. I highly recommend eating here, you won’t regret it!

I met a friend for lunch at Hot Off the Presses and we weren’t disappointed. The owner was working the FOH and was welcoming from the time I opened the door.
There are ~10 tables to choose from & tables could easily be moved around to accommodate more people.
You order at the counter, then the food was brought out to us. I ordered a dipper (cup) of the Tomato Basil Bisque and the Hot Hammin’ sandwich. The soup was served piping hot and was delicious and creamy – I’d order a bowl next time, it was that good. The sandwich was piled high with delicious meaty cheese and good ham. The Ken’s Honey Mustard was a great addition to this classic sandwich.
My friend ordered the Caprese sandwich and said it was great; the cheese was so meaty and oozy.
They offer a few dessert options from a local baker (shout out to Jess Desserts) which looked good, but I didn’t try any.
While we were dining, I noticed that the owner was wiping & cleaning tables when other diners left.
When we were getting ready to leave, we had a great conversation with the owner. He was funny & engaging – he also made some great restaurant recommendations for an upcoming trip I’m going on (shout out to Saint Pasta in PHX).
I had a difficult time deciding which sandwich to order, so more trips to Hot Off the Presses are in my future. The food was great. The owner was great. The atmosphere was great. A true 5* experience.

Amazing food, amazing service! Everything you love about the food truck but without tracking them across the city! 10/10 recommend The Journal (pictured) and the Prensa Libre. So delicious! Jed and team have done it again and I can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu!
