I’ve come to the Greece CoreLife for over 4 years now and I’ve always ordered the same thing – the Korean BBQ Pork Bowl. I’ve never been disappointed, if anything I’ve always been the #1 advocate of this place to family and friends. Well that’s most definitely over. I come in just before 7pm (They close at 8pm) and instantly I’m given looks and sighs of frustration as I order as if it’s an inconvenience. I order my bowl, and they start serving it in a takeout bowl, obviously they didn’t want us to sit down, which is fine. Again, more than an hour before closing. The lady take everything from my bowl and throws it on the grill…(Quinoa, roots, broccoli, etc…) none of these ingredients get grilled? They burned half of it. The bowl isn’t supposed to be hot. That already ruined it for me before I ate it. The portions were abysmal and the customer service was worse, by 2 specific workers. Constant sighs and clear frustration from the staff made me feel like a burden as a customer. Safe to say I will never give my money to this location again. And I recommend you don’t either! Don’t waste your time or your money

Hello,

I came into this location today intending to purchase a smoothie only, something I have done many times in the past. When I arrived, there were approximately six customers in line ordering food. As I have done before, I approached the front to place a smoothie order.

Initially, no one acknowledged me. I assumed this was because I was on my phone, so I placed my call on hold and spoke to the gentleman I understood to be the manager. I explained that I was there to order a smoothie, and he informed me that I needed to wait in line behind those ordering food. I did not argue or question this and waited in line for approximately 5–10 minutes.

When it was finally my turn, I informed the staff member that I was there to order a smoothie. She then stated that the order could have been placed directly at the register, but took my order anyway. At that point, it was frustrating to realize that I had waited unnecessarily, especially when the staff were occupied with orders while others, including the manager, were not actively assisting customers.

Typically, when I come in for a smoothie, the entire transaction takes only a few minutes. Seeing that no effort was made to take that brief amount of time to assist a customer was disappointing. While this was not the worst restaurant experience I’ve had, customer service is an important factor in deciding where to spend my money. With many other smoothie locations nearby that prioritize efficient and attentive service, it makes it difficult to justify returning to one that does not.

Edit: upon getting home I realized that my smoothie was made incorrectly, and had to return to the store to have it remade.

On January 31st I purchased 2 sizzle bowls, The kung pao and korean barbecue, and they were both absolutely delicious – the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely go back to this restaurant over and over again. And I especially want to thank the young girl who made the bowls for me. I think her name is Julianna or Lillian, i forgot to ask her name when I was there, but I believe it was Juliana and she did a terrific job!!

There was a bug (not a small one!) in my salad.

I wanted to share feedback about my most recent visit, as it was noticeably below the quality I’ve come to expect. While the food still tasted great, the large bowls I ordered were significantly underfilled. They’re normally packed to the brim, but this time both bowls were barely halfway full and the ingredients looked rushed and unevenly prepared. Even with the bowl being tossed, it felt like the portioning and overall attention to detail just weren’t there.

When I arrived to pick up my order, I also witnessed an interaction that left a poor impression. A customer in front of me asked for avocado, and while she agreed to the additional charge, she was then told the avocado was hard. When she asked to speak with a manager—which is a reasonable request—the older employee with white hair declined to get anyone. Coming from a management background myself, even when a customer’s request seems inconvenient, it’s important to address their concerns respectfully.

Between the underprepared bowls and the lack of professionalism in that interaction, this visit felt disappointing and out of character for a place that usually delivers great service and quality. I hope this feedback helps ensure better experiences moving forward.

Went in at 7:40 p.m- they close at 8. I was told they were out of chicken and steak and not willing to make more. The employees were extremely rude and dismissive.

As we were leaving, several other customers walked in and ended up walking right back out, equally frustrated and empty-handed. This isn’t a one-time issue- the exact same thing happened before around 7:30 p.m last month and I decided to give them another chance.

I’ve been a loyal CoreLife customer since the location first opened, but after being treated this way twice, I won’t be back. It’s clear customer service and consistency no longer matter here. You just lost a faithful customer.

Food is good, but I got like 2 tbsp of chicken in my Greek Chicken Bowl. Really disappointing.

Visited CoreLife Eatery excited for their healthy menu options. The food quality was impressive, showcasing fresh and flavorful ingredients. However, two aspects didn’t meet my expectations. First, my 24oz smoothie order was noticeably short, filled to about 18-20 oz, which was disappointing given the anticipation for a full, refreshing drink.Secondly, the pricing felt steep. For one bowl and two drinks, my bill came to $36 before tip, which seemed overpriced for the portion and content received. While I appreciate the quality of the food, the value aspect is a consideration for future visits. Great tasting meals and health-focused options, but they need to revisit their portion sizes and pricing to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

For a restaurant that is supposed to be healthy they can’t answer questions about monosodium glutamate. Or provide any direction for me to look it up for myself. I decided on my last visit to try a bowl until I saw the worker stop using the spoons and ladles and grab blue cheese with his gloved hand and then several ingredients after that. As someone with severe allergies he contaminated everything he touched after the cheese. I decided to get mac and cheese only to see this filthy lid and that my container wasn’t even full.

The most disgusting “healthy” food I’ve ever tried.
The meat was like a tire, the potato was undercooked, fajita veggies=plain boiled vegetables.
Why are you doing this? Just stop it
