Great food but absolutely awful customer service..
If you’d like to make three trips to make one meal possible, this is the place for you!!!
I grew up with a profound love and history with this place, a late godmother of mine, “Gloria”, spent almost 30 years working for this establishment; contributing to the creation of the “Breakfast on a Bun”.
I have been unfortunately nothing but disappointed with this business since it changed ownership and she would roll in her grave seeing the service now
I’ve heard rumors of bad food, changes in customer loved ingredients, and insane wait times..
Today solidified my opinion to just avoid using the window here, and avoid dinner here unless you want to experience delay in the rest of your evening.
I placed an order at the drive thru with a $40 cash budget for the coupon in photo 1: $5 off- 2 Hamburgers, 4 Dogs, 6 Tenders, A Family Fry. This meal is listed as $33 on the website.
The teller misunderstood and checked us out for a $20.00 family bundle, even when given the paper coupon featuring a photo of the bundle.
I gave the teller $40 and was given $20 in change but I didn’t notice until I was home and missing all six tenders…
I made the drive back with the second copy of the coupon in hand and my $20. (the post office messed up and sent two copies, thank god they did because I had to physically show the second employee the second coupon because they did know what meal I was referring to either)
I let them know I was missing a 6 piece tender and since now I’ve had to drive back after unloading the food at home and feeding the rest of the fam,
“I would like to add a 3 piece tender by itself and I do not mind paying extra” because I am now extra hungry…
Somehow the second interaction was a mess too;
I received TWO THREE PIECE TENDER MEALS WITH FRIES, I already have a family order of fries at home I really didn’t need more grease fries, just 9 tenders total….. still missing 3 tenders though now that I am home trying to enjoy my meal.
I paid $7 for an additional 3 tenders just to be missing them twice, in this economy???
I’m beyond over this interaction and won’t be back anytime soon, thank you for the good tasting fresh food that my family got to enjoy but mines cold now.
I absolutely should not have to make 3 trips for a simple COUPON MEAL that includes a photo of the meal. Please do better.

Busy Saturday lunch rush didn’t take away from the great experience we had. Food was out quickly, hot and tasted like it did years ago. Really pleased with the service, making sure to be accommodating and helpful for a larger family. Overall very pleased with the experience

Food, on par with what you can buy and make yourself from Sam’s club. It’s not terrible but it’s what you would expect from a hot dog joint. Service, you’re always greeted quickly and food typically arrives promptly. As for the atmosphere, there isn’t one. You just got 3 and eat with country music playing over the speaker system. For some reason everyone keeps coming back for more. It’s a staple in the area.

Gotta love when you are craving a chili hot dog & no Fairs or festivals are around that you can stop at Jib Jab and get what you are craving. This business started over 50 years ago & that is significant in this day and time. Plus it’s still very affordable, especially if you are bringing the family. I will say this…it’s been awhile since we’ve ordered a milkshake but we will for sure order again next time. They are delicious & even after the 45 minute ride home the milk shake wasn’t watered down in the least. You can be assured they are going to measure up to your delicious desires for a tasty shake.

Fries were decent, hot dogs were boiled and slightly undercooked. The cheese seemed dated as well. Prices are decent though. Also the Waffle House of hot dog places. Kitchen staff are obviously beyond fed up here.

The Hot Dog shoppe is a must if you love hot dogs. The chili sauce is awesome, a nice zesty taste for sure. Fast service with a friendly staff. You must try their Breakfast Sandwich (sausage or bacon), it is a great way to start your day. I’m a big fan of the chili & cheese dog, tasty for sure. The chili cheese fries & amazing as well.
It’s great comfort food & great prices. You will not be disappointed.

Fun atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great all beef hot dogs. Fries were fresh and crisp. Fresh lemonade was a nice alternative to soda. The most impressive part of our experience was our server, Luke. Genuine, friendly and engaged. Nice to see someone take pride and ownership in the customers experience. Exceeded our expectations.

First time here. Very good hot dogs and fries. Bonus for a perfectly steamed bun! The cheese sauce for the fries is a little funky. It had a dry gritty texture. Not necessarily bad, but would have preferred real cheese sauce (this tasted like a dry mix with water) . Next time I’ll get the fries without cheese since they’re good enough to stand on their own. Friendly staff, quick service, and good prices!

I grew up as a young kid in Warren. Every once in a while I have a Hot Dog Shoppe craving. Problem though…I live in the Florida Keys. My lovely girl had them shipped to us way down here. Abby and Greg went out their way to get the dogs and the chili here. They don’t really ship their food so they really stepped up….great people! We are loving our chili dogs!
