Absolutely incredible food! It was super fresh and didn’t skimp on the portions. Not only will I be returning, but I’ll be a repeat customer!

We used to love eating at Magason Table when it was at this location and were so disappointed when it closed. Fortunately Hot Chopsticks Kitchen has many of the same menu items we loved. The food here is delicious especially the lemongrass beef bahn mi. The service is also great. We love the laid back atmosphere and definitely recommend trying this restaurant for excellent Vietnamese food!

Wanted to try something new for lunch today and was craving some Asian Cuisine. Hot Chopsticks is pretty new and located inside the 8th Street Market next to Prelude Coffee and Prairie Artisan Ales. I went a little later in the day so it wasn’t busy at all, but it was clear the lunch crowd had definitely been there. The menu has many options and I had to try some classics just to see how they did with flavor. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast and tasty my meal ways. The chicken was soft and the onions really gave it a rich taste. The Crab Rangoons were pretty darn good and the sauce wasn’t overpowering. I will be back to try more.

Nothing special. I hope to come back with the really cool location they are at after they improve and have some time to adjust. For $30+ this was not worth it.
The noodles were plain, we got a “Pad Thai” and Vermicelli grilled chicken. Not much flavor to the chicken or sauce or noodles. I had to add green onions and hoisin sauce along with other ingredients at home to make it eatable. The quantity is there, the quality and price is not adequate to the service.
Their menu online is different from in store. Also when we came to pick it up, the restaurant was dirty and sticky.

$17 for orange chicken and fried rice. While the presentation of the meal was very solid the chicken itself was inconsistent. Some pieces were excellent (pictured) while I had to spit out another piece (not pictured) because it was overcooked and rubbery. Although the fried rice is an up-charge, it was some of the best fried rice I’ve had in recent memory. I live nearby so I might return out of convenience and to get the fried rice again.

I got the salted crunchy tofu and it was so good and very filling!

Food was good, but I wouldn’t give it a sparkling review. The Crab Rangoon had an odd thick shell and was a bit unpleasant to eat, was also served with sweet and sour sauce that tasted more like watermelon jolly rancher. The shrimp vermicelli noodle bowl was much better- no complaints except I’d prefer the shrimp served with tails off. Boyfriend had the pork bahn mi and said it was pretty good- little bit of heat to it. Atmosphere is so-so- nothing remarkable or off putting about it. The guy working the counter didn’t seem too personable but not rude either. Might come back but still searching for my favorite vermicelli bowl.

We absolutely loved our lunch here! It’s a perfect spot to visit. Lots of parking, easy to find, and next to a great brewery.
She has perfected her craft in more ways than one. The restaurant is bright, clean, and inviting. The food was phenomenal. We split the sesame chicken and the shaken beef. While both were cooked to perfection, the shaken beef melted in our mouths. The portions were large, but if you’re as hungry as we were they are manageable in a sitting lol. Do yourself a favor and make this a lunch or dinner stop this week.

Employees are pleasant and good quality food. I wish there had been more beef and when someone says no spice… I mean no jalapeños but I will be back and try other things. Maybe a little expensive for what you get since the rice was a little dry on parts. A good match for the brewery tho
