Enjoyed a fun date night at the recently opened Hoshi. Renovations have really cleaned this location up! The Sushi and drinks were delish! Happy hour is great! We will return for some Teppanyaki grill next visit!

We like to come here for birthday dinners. It’s been three different restaurants in the last several years. It’s not generally very busy, but we never understand why, since the food is very good (although I guess it’s a bit pricey). This time, we all loved the salad, but agreed that the soup wasn’t as good as with the previous restaurants. My kids loved the edamame. My son devoured the calamari rings and said the kids orange chicken was very good. The shrimp and filet were the best we’ve ever had!! But, the fried rice wasn’t as good as we’ve had in the past. As usual, the chef was funny and the service was good. My kids always enjoy the teppenyaki at this location!

Their beer prices are pretty good considering the area. I asked for a menu to see their beer, and they told me to follow them and brought me to a table instead. It was a mistake on their part. Service after that was good. But at the end, they never brought out the check. I had to go to the front of the store to pay. Kind of annoying. The inside is really cool. Very spacious and well-lit. They have a karaoke stage that is being set up for use soon. Their bar is pretty good. Their food, however, fails to hit the spot. I ordered a filet mignon with noodles plate, that was recommended by the waitress. The filet mignon was tough and chewy, not soft. I question whether it was really filet mignon. It tasted more like chuck beef. I was not impressed with that particular dish. It was also pretty expensive for the quality. I don’t think I’ll come back.

The sushi was fantastic! Everything was really good, only thing I didn’t absolutely love was the ramen, I still ate it all of course, ha, but the broth had an unusual flavor too it that I didn’t love. I think I’ll try the miso ramen instead next time. Everything else about the experience was great.

Sushi was so fresh and good! The teppenyaki was fun and the meat quality was great too! They’ll add extra garlic to your food if you want too! Try the mongo lychee sake shooters too!

Been here twice already, first time I got ramen (it was delicious, best ramen I’ve had around this area) and I just went again and had the Teppanayki chicken and shared with my husband it was amazing! The guy cooking the food was entertaining and funny and the food was well priced.
