I’m “lactose intolerant” 18 years now yet I can drink this dairy fresh milk and no reaction AT ALL to Hoover milk! Lived here two years and this dairy milk is the very best part of the move to Sanborn NY! I can’t explain what a miracle that is to me as I’d really missed milk – even almond milk and cashew milk were NOTHING like the REAL CREAM THICK MILK I am now able to get all the time! Took my daughter out to their restaurant to check the food – REAL dinners made from SCRATCH – iykyk for real! Loved my meal – turkey & stuffing was both tasty and moist, mashed potatoes had bits of peel in them like I love and I could taste the cream in them!
My finicky 40yo daughter actually ate her entire burger in front of me! It was made on a grill and was as thoroughly cooked as she liked it. Note about our incredible ice cream experience – she got a sundae that was remarkable because of the caramel used – she said that it’s the kind you dip apples into – so REAL caramel. I was just thrilled that my strawberry ice cream didn’t make me sick – and those were real strawberries too!
Step away from fast food to come to Hoovers – 24 minutes from Buffalo, 21mins from downtown Falls, 19 from Lockport. WORTHWHILE EXPERIENCE FOR REAL especially if you’ve experienced lactose intolerance! Next I’ll need to experience the ICE CREAM PIES

Very friendly staff takes your order at the counter. They call your name when order is ready. Food isn’t fancy but well made and tasty. Prices are very reasonable and a half order of fries are plenty. Just a bit chilly in there this time of year. Lots of people going in and out getting their egg nog.

Great place to grab lunch around Niagara county. This place you order at the counter and then grab a table to dine. Quite a variety of options to choose from for subs, food and dessert. This place is known for their glass bottle milk. Ordered the stinger sub with a side of fries. Food portions are huge for lunch and tasty. The sun filled me up and didn’t have a chance to try their ice creams. Overall, will definitely go back for lunch.

Average fish fry. The coleslaw was the worst I’ve ever tasted. It was a gray color, soggy, runny, warm and loaded with pepper. Not fresh tasting at all. We dined in and received our lunch as it was prepared.

Their ice cream is delicious! Very creamy, reasonably priced, good portions. I got a small cup of their Peanut Butter Cup flavor. So good!! I did not try their food. The menu had a few hamburgers (included a veggie burger option), many sandwiches, and a Friday fish fry.

Local gem! Hoovers started making their ice cream using the surplus cream from their dairy production (milk products). They’ve been wildly successful. Large selection of their crafted flavors. Despite the Perry’s signage, they no longer sell Perry’s but focus on their own delicious, rich ice cream.
I have their beef on weck (iconic western New York roast beef sandwich) which was a pretty good (missing the au jus) mountain of thinly sliced beef round. The Kimmel weck roll was too fluffy, really need an old school Kaiser roll for the base roll, not this current preference for a lighter crusty Italian style roll, however the roll was topped with a respectable amount of salt & caraway.
Had a delicious berry cheesecake cone with the sandwich- very creamy, great flavor, run of the mill cake cone.
Went back later for the special eclair sundae – 3 mini eclairs topped with generous 2 scoops of ice cream and hot fudge with the requisite whipped cream and cherry on top. That was lunch by itself and worth the calories!

Nice local country counter service restaurant. Hoover style fries have bacon, ranch and cheese. Try the home-made pickle relish. The small ice cream cones are huge! The butterfinger ice cream was excellent! Orange chocolate needs more orange.

Great road-trip stop. Food is typical diner with some mexican thrown in. Fun experience. From the front it looks like a drive-in only, but go to the left side and there is a door into the diner that is situated behind the drive-in. The fries are fresh-cut, home-made and delicious. The tacos and quesadillas were yummy. We would definitely drop in here again!

Nothing stood out here but it was good. The person that took our order could have been a little more friendly. She seemed like she did not want to be there. And wish they would’ve sold the ice cream sandwiches separately instead of only in a 6 pack. My biggest wish would be to have a description of the ice creams. We can’t even see the ice creams so we have no idea what Green Pastures (and etc) even is. Otherwise, it was fine.
