Even though the food is delicious the portions are very little, far below the normal portions served by other Chinese restaurants. It definitely doesn’t give us our money’s worth. The two litter soda was hot, so I would have to wait until tomorrow to drink it, and the plastic spoons & forks are fit for a two year old.

My family and I come here at least once a week, sometimes more. The buffet is small but the food is amazing. The price went up by a dollar in recent months but that hasn’t stopped us from coming. The staff are very attentive and for some reason we just can’t get enough of the soda there. It’s better than anywhere else in town! I highly recommend Hong Yip over the other places in town. You won’t be disappointed.

The worst Chinese’s buffet I’ve ever been to in my life. We got there and the lady who was working the front desk was yelling at her kids as loud as she could. We asked for a table and she ignored us. Another gentlemen finally said our waiter would be there soon to seat us but it was a child. He took our drink orders and we got up to get our first plate, but when we got up to look, everything was EMPTY. Literally every single tub was empty except for trays of fruit at the front. We had to ask for more food to be made and only 2-3 other tubs were brought out. When we tasted this “freshly” brought out food, it was cold. EVERYTHING WAS COLD. Felt like I got ripped off after I left. Will not be coming back.

I’m passing through town from out of state and was hungry for Chinese. Honestly the service was very good and the people were very friendly, and it was clean. However the food was cold and bland. I’ll hope it was an off night because there’s several good reviews. Best of regards to the owners and staff because they are top notch. I truly hope they are successful.

me and my family love this place! we go at least 3-4 times a week! i can understand the complain that there ‘isnt much’ compared to the other option in town, but personally, the taste of the food here is way better than the place in the mall, and doesn’t make you so instantly full feeling!

5 stars for service, 1 star for the buffet. We were there at about 8pm. We opted for the buffet because we were in a hurry. There was a young boy who acted as host, got us seated, gave us our placesettings and drinks. He was great. The woman working there offered to make more of anything we wanted. She was great, too. Unfortunately, the food was terrible.

Awesome restaurant. It’s family friendly and they deliver. Oddly enough it’s the best place in town to get chicken wings. The hot wings are huge with excellent buffalo sauce and are the cheapest you’ll find.
