What a great tavern and restaurant in Northern Wisconsin! Beautiful wood interior. Talked to Wes, one of the owners about their different menu options. We tried the Canadian Walleye and a prime Rib sammie. Both were excellent. We will certainly be back.

We’ve been patronizing Stillwaters for a lot of years. First time I was ever disappointed. $18 for pasta with 2 meatballs and no salad (because ‘it’s not in season and so expensive’) is a bit excessive. Delicious, but overpriced.

We came to Stillwater by recommendation of someone camping near us last year. Eric was right! Outstanding place! First, Karen our host and waitress. What a great lady. She made us feel like we belonged there right away. It set the mood. The ambience is perfect. Outdoorsy tavern restaurant built by her parents. Then came the icing on the cake! Breaded Walleye on an Italian bread with fries and a beer (or two). So good. Thank you Stillwater! White Beard Guy and Curly Headed lady! It capped our trip to Star Lake! Fall camping is the best.

Restaurant was clean, music and conversation volume was pleasant, food and service were both top notch. I had the Star Laker burger. The fries were perfectly hot and crispy and didnt need any additional seasoning

Top notch service from Rayann and great outdoor seating area. Want bluegill? Check. How about perch? Yep. Cod? Sure. Walleye? You got it. Batter is nice and light, before I knew it my plate was empty. Highly recommend. Oh and Mac and Cheese included for the table, Perfecto.

Awesome food! The staff did an amazing job and were so personable tending to us even though the place was packed. They went out of their way way to make sure we felt like we were their only customers. Fantastic place! We’ll definitely be going back! Great job! We would like to see it on the Polaris map as we struggled a little finding it.
