We stopped here while passing through on a long motorcycle ride. The dining area was nice and clean. The lady who took care of us was friendly. The food was great and the monster burger was possibly the best burger I have had from a restaurant. It was simple and delicious! I will stop again if I’m ever back in the area.

I asked the locals for a good place to eat and this is where it led me. It took a little time, but they were busy with call ins and to go orders. It was well worth the wait! The food was excellent! Management was nice and respectful and stayed engaged. Highly recommend if passing through or visiting for the day in Cumberland.

Very friendly staff that felt welcoming.
I got the Buffalo chicken salad, and it was amazing! Build egg thinly sliced and on the side, clean cucumbers, perfect ratio of chicken and lettuce. The tomatoes and banana peppers and onions all blended in together with harmony.
Next time I’m in the area, this will be my go-to as it should be yours.

Walked in and was seated. Took a while for the guy to take our order. We each ordered water and a sandwich. I asked if the sandwich came with a side and he replied verbatim “you can get fries or tots” so I order tots. 20 minutes later we got up and walked in the kitchen to see where are waters were. They replied, we don’t have any more water…. then at least another 20 minutes they finally brought out our sandwiches. I asked for ketchup, we don’t have any ketchup… we ate, and went to check out, he was going to charge me for water and my tots. I told him we didn’t have any water, and that he said the tots came with the sandwich. He took the water off but charged me for the tots. Very bad experience, not only did it take almost an hour for our food, they intentionally tried to rip me off at the counter. Not going back for sure.

Hometown Heroes is an amazing restaurant! It’s very nice to have this option as a food source. Never can complain about the food or wait. When I go to pickup my food it only takes them about 30 seconds for them to give me my price, for me to pay, and to receive my food!

My family and I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat since we were in the area and definitely not disappointed with the food! Everything was freshly made and spot on! The manager Jessica was so sweet to be able to get me a cup of hot water so I could warm up a bottle to feed our baby. Great food, great staff! Definitely returning next time we’re nearby

We ordered spaghetti expecting..well spaghetti but it was a beautiful little pasta dish i thought only I knew and had invented, lol. Using mostaccioli noodles instead of spaghetti. They have about anything you are craving. From full dinners to pizza and burgers. nice and clean. There is plenty of roomy space to dine in.

If you’re hungry for a huge, soft, hearty sub that is loaded with fresh, delicious ingredients, then you are at the right place. I ordered a 12-inch club, and I left with 6 inches and a very full belly. The hubs got the steak and cheese and loved it. The place is quiet and clean and the staff are very polite. We will be back to try more items. Stop in and fill up at a fair price.

Nothing fancy here, basic table and chairs, mom and pop shoestring budget type place…
OH MY LORD! Best calzones ever! Bread is perfect, baked to perfection, fluffy, crisp, soft and delicious , yes the best we have ever had in 60 years of life, been to all 50 states, 20+ countries, this was hands down the best food we had ever been served.
What a treat to find in a hole in the wall place.
